초록

『추안급국안』은 조선시대에 반역범죄를 수사하는 특별관청인 추국청(推鞫廳)의수사기록을 모은 일종의 등록이다. 죄인과 증인의 진술이 그대로 실려 있어, 조선후기 역사상을 담고 있는 중요한 사료이다. 따라서 전문연구자는 물론 문화산업에종사하는 창작자들에게도 가치 있는 자료이다. 그러나 자료의 특성상 일반인이 이용하기엔 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는『추안급국안』이라는 자료의 특성을 밝히고 이를 바탕으로 『추안급국안』 DB 구축 방안과 이를 활용한 창작소재 콘텐츠 개발방향을 제안하였다.
『추안급국안』은 추국청의 조사 과정에 따라 생산된 문서가 시간순서대로 수록되어 있다. 그리고 진술을 그대로 기록하여 고유명사 표기가 일관적이지 못하며, 거짓진술과 무고(誣告)도 그대로 실려 있다. 또한 분량도 방대하여 사건의 전말을 파악하기 어려운 경우도 있다. 그래서 일반인이 그대로 이용하기 어렵다.
DB 구축을 위해 고려할 사안은 메타데이터(Metadata)와 시소러스(Thesaurus), 마크업(Mark-up)과 하이퍼텍스트(Hypertext), 멀티미디어(Multimedia)와 하이퍼미디어(Hypermedia), 인터페이스(Interface), 유지관리 및 업그레이드이다. 이상의 사안들은 모두 『추안급국안』의 특성을 감안하여작업이 수행되어야 한다.
『추안급국안』을 활용한 창작소재 콘텐츠는 사실정보와 복원정보 중심으로 제공되어야 한다. 구체적으로 사건의 개요, 범죄계획과 실제 전개과정, 인물사전과 등장인물 관계도, 사건 속의 사건을 창작소재 콘텐츠로 개발해야 한다.
이렇게 추안급국안 DB가 구축되고 창작소재 콘텐츠가 개발된다면, 전문연구자와 학생, 일반인, 창작자 모두가 쉽게 추안급국안을 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
따라서 학술연구는 물론 문화산업에도 많은 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

Chu`an and Guk`an (『推案及鞫案』) is the collection of the investigation record fromChugukchung(推鞫廳), the special department which investigated treason in the JoseonDynasty period. It contains the statements of offenders and witnesses as they were. So it isvery important historical material encompassing the phase of history of that time. Therefore it is very valuable to the creators in the cultural industry as well as researchers. But it is noteasy for the public to use it. The purpose of this study is to figure out the characteristics ofChu'an and Guk'an, and based on this, to suggest the directions for Chu'an and Guk'andatabase construction and creativity material contents development.
The documents written according to the investigation processes of Chugukchung areincluded in Chu'an Guk'an. And as the statements were recorded as they were, thespellings of proper nouns were inconsistent, and false statements and false accusations wereincluded. Also its large amount often made it difficult to reveal the whole story. So it isdifficult for the public to use it as it is.
For Database construction, it is necessary to consider metadata, thesaurus, mark-up, hypertext, multimedia, hypermedia, interface, maintenance and upgrade. These should becarried out in the view of the characteristics of Chu'an Guk'an.
Creativity material contents utilizing Chu'an Guk'an should be provided around factualinformation and reconstructed information. Specifically, outline of event, plan of crime andits actual development process, biographic dictionary, character relation diagram, an eventinside an event and so on should be produced as creativity material contents. If Chu'an Guk'an database is constructed and creativity material contents are produced,researchers, students, public, and creators can utilize Chu'an Guk'an with ease. Therefore it can contribute to cultural industry as well as academic research.
