초록

이 논문의 목적은 『장자집해내편보정(莊子集解內篇補正)』에서 유무가 말한 ‘천뢰(天籟)’의 의미를 밝히는 것이다. 유무는 독특하게 <제물론(齊物論)>의 시작에서 나오는 남곽자기와 안성자유의 대화를 보광(葆光)까지 이어지는 것으로 본다. 그가 그렇게 하는 목적은 이들의 대화를 첫 핵심 단락으로 보고, 그 나머지를 다섯 단락으로 나눠 첫 단락에 대한 설명으로 보기 위함이다. 곧 첫 단락의 중심이 천뢰이고, 그 나머지 단락은 모두 그 중심에 대한 각기 다른 표현이니, 서로 연결해서 설명해야 한다는 것이다.
유무는 특이하게도 천뢰에 대해 말로써 표현된 마음이라고 하면서 또 <제물론>의 의미를 사물에 대한 의론을 제일하게 하는 것으로 본다. 그런데 그의 이런 관점도 <제물론>을 여섯 단락으로 나누는 것과 직결되어 있다. 제일하게 할 수 있는 것은 사물이 아니라 마음이기 때문에 그는 천뢰를 마음의 표현인 말로 보고, <제물론> 전체를 설명하는 것이다. 곧 마음은 지와 정을 통해 말로 드러나니, 마음의 작용을 알아야 그것을 비움으로써 피아의 분별이 사라진 상아나 호접몽의 경지로 다가갈 수 있다는 것이다.
유무는 최근의 사람으로 『장자집해내편보정』에서 『장자』 주석의 다양한 고전을 거론하고, 또 의리적으로 『장자』를 풀이하기보다는 청대 고증학의 영향 아래 장자의 말을 『장자』라는 책 안에서 서로 철저하게 연결하면서 설명한다. 이런 점에서 『장자집해내편보정』의 연구 가치는 아주 큰데도 아직까지 이것에 대한 연구는 거의 진행되지 않았다. 그래서 『장자』 해석의 지평을 넓힘은 물론 『장자집해내편보정』에 대한 학계의 관심을 끌고 그 연구를 촉진하기 위해 장자철학의 핵심 개념인 천뢰에 대해 살펴본 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the meaning of the sound of heaven which Liuwu(劉武) commented in Zhuangzi jijie neipian buzheng(莊子集解內篇補正). Liuwu(劉武) uniquely thinks of the dialogue between Nanguoziqi(南郭子綦) and Yanchengziyou(顔成子游), which appears in the first part of Discussion on Making All Things Equal, as leading to ‘the sparkle of light(葆光)’. The purpose of his doing so is to see their first conversation as the key paragraph, and to divide the rest into five paragraphs and to see them as an explanation of the first paragraph. In other words, the keyword of the first paragraph is the sound of heaven, and the rest of the paragraphs are all different expressions of the keyword, so you have to connect them with one another.
Liuwu peculiarly says the sound of heaven is the mind expressed by way of words, and regards the meaning of Discussion on Making All Things Equal as a neatness of the theory of things. Furthermore, his view is directly related to dividing the book into six paragraphs. Because it is not the object but the mind that can be arranged, he sees the sound of the sky as the word expressing the mind and explains the whole of Discussion on Making All Things Equal. The mind is revealed in words through the knowledge and the heart, so that it is necessary to know the action of the mind and to empty it, so that it can reach the state of 'forgetting me' or 'dream that turned into a butterfly'.
Liuwu who is the recent person, including all of old commentaries for Zhuangzi, explains thorough interconnectedness of Zhuangzi’s words in the book of Zhuangzi under the influence of the Qing Dynasty’s the study of old documents, rather than interpreting Zhuangzi in the overall sense. In this regard, the study of Zhuangzi jijie neipian buzheng is of great value, but little research has been done yet. in order to expand the horizon of the interpretation of Zhuangzi, as well as to attract the attention of the academic community about Zhuangzi jijie neipian buzheng, and to promote the study, the sound of heaven, the core concept of the Zhuangzi’s philosophy, was examined.
