영유아 전문사역자의 자질에 대한 연구 (A study on the Qualifications of Toddler and Early Childhood Specialist Ministry)

초록

본 연구는 영유아 사역의 중요성을 인식하여 그 교육을 맡은 영유아사역자의 자질을 점검함으로써 교회학교 영유아부서 사역의 활성화를높이고자 하는 것이다.
한국교회 교회학교는 이미 오래전부터 전문사역자의 중요성과 필요성을 절감하고 있다. 이에 영유아 전문사역자의 역할과 자질을 살펴보고 선행연구를 기반으로 영유아 전문사역자를 위한 자질을 구성하였다. 연구대상을 통해 영유아 전문사역자의 자질이 어떠한가 살펴보고배경에 따른 자질의 차이가 어떻게 나타났는지 분석하였다. 본 연구의대상은 교회학교 영유아부서를 지도하고 있는 영유아 사역자 207명이다. 먼저 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 활용하여 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증을 실시한 결과 영유아 전문사역자 자질 도구가 영유아 사역자의 자질을 평가하는 타당하고 신뢰 있는 도구임이 확인되었다. 이에 연구대상의 일반적 특성을 위해 빈도분석을 실시하였으며, 연구 변인의 수준 파악을위한 기술통계 분석을 실행하였고 연구 변인에 어떠한 차이가 있는지파악을 위해 독립표본 t검정과 일원배치 분산분석 및 Scheffe의 사후검정을 실시하였다.
연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아 전문사역자의 자질 하위요인에서 인성이 가장 높았다. 영유아 사역자의 자질에서 높은 인성의 결과를 보여준 것은 어린 연령의 교육을 맡은 사역자의 따뜻한 성품이 그대로 반영된 것으로 보여진다. 둘째, 일반적 배경에 따른 영유아 전문사역자 자질의 차이 검증에서는 성별, 나이, 사역부서, 대학 학제, 대학원 전공, 현재 직분, 사역 경력, 사역교회 교인 수에 따라 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 영유아 전문사역자의 자질을 분석하고 논의하였으며 영유아 사역자의 자질 향상을 위해 전문 교육기관개설, 지속적인 재교육, 영유아 사역자간의 네트워크를 제안하였다. 앞으로 교회와 노회, 총회의 지속적인 관심과 협력이 절실하다.

Recognizing the importance of toddler and early childhood ministry, this study aims to enhance the revitalization of toddler and early childhood ministry in church schools by examining the qualities of toddler and early childhood specialist ministers in charge of such education.
Church schools in the Korean church have long realized the importance and necessity for professional ministers. Accordingly, this study examined the roles and qualities of toddler and early childhood specialists ministers and constructed qualities for toddler and early childhood specialists ministers based on previous research. This study examined the qualities of toddler and early childhood specialist ministers and analyzed how the differences in qualities appeared according to their backgrounds. The subjects of this study are 207 toddler and early childhood ministers who lead toddler and early childhood ministry departments of church schools. First, as a result of verifying validity and reliability tests using the SPSS 22.0 program, it was confirmed that the toddler and early childhood Specialist Qualities Tool is a valid and reliable tool for evaluating the qualities of toddler and early childhood ministers. Therefore, frequency analysis was conducted for the general characteristics of the research subjects, descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to identify the level of the research variables, and independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’s post hoc test were conducted to identify any differences in the research variables.
The results of the study are as follows. First, personality was the highest among the subfactors of the qualities of toddler and early childhood specialist ministers. The high results of personality in the qualities of infant and early childhood ministers may be a reflection of the warm personality of workers who are entrusted with the education of young age. Second, when testing for differences in the qualities of infant and early childhood specialist ministers by general background, significant results were found for gender, age, ministry department, college system, graduate school major, current position, years of experience, and number of members in the ministry church. Based on the results of the study, the qualities of infant and early childhood ministers were analyzed and discussed. To improve the quality of infant and early childhood ministers, the report suggests the establishment of professional training centres, ongoing refresher training, and networks of infant and early childhood ministers. The continued attention and co-operation of churches, presbyteries and the General Assembly is needed.
