영유아교사의 전문성 인식이 영유아권리존중 실행에 미치는 영향: 성격강점의 매개효과 (The Effect of the professionalism awareness in early childhood teachers on the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights: The Mediation Effect of Personality Strength.)

초록

본 연구는 영유아교사의 전문성 인식, 영유아권리존중 보육실행, 성격강점 간의 관계를 알아봄으로써 영유아보육기관에서 영유아교사가 영유아들을 위한 바람직한 보육실행을 위한 지원방안 모색 및 시사점을 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 서울‧경기·충청·강원지역 어린이집의 영유아교사 473을 대상으로 설문지 배부 및 수집을 했고, SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 자료를 분석했다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 영유아교사의 전문성 인식과 영유아귄리존중 보육실행, 성격강점 간의 관계에 대한 상관관계는 전문성 인식, 영유아권리존중 보육실행, 성격강점은 전체적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 회귀분석을 통해 영유아교사의 전문성 인식이 성격강점을 매개분석 연구결과는 영유아교사의 전문성 인식은 직접적으로 영유아권리존중 보육실행에 직접적으로 31%의 설명력을 나타냈지만, 성격강점을 매개로 영유아권리존중 보육실행에 미치는 영향은 71%로 높아졌다. 또한 성격강점에 따른 부분매개 효과에 대한 검증을 위한 총 효과는 52%로 나타나 성격강점은 영유아교사의 전문성 인식이 영유아권리존중 보육실행에 미치는 영향에서 부분매개 하고 있음을 증명했다. 그러므로 본 연구는 영유아교사가 전문성을 갖고 영유아들을 지도하는데 자신의 성격강점을 이해하고 타인과 더불어 살아가는데 긍정적으로 인식할 수 있도록 지원하여 영유아교사가 영유아들의 권리를 존중하며 보육을 지원할 수 있도록 돕는 지원책에 대한 시사점을 제공하는 것을 알 수 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions for teachers to carry out desirable childcare for infants and to seek support directions for infants by examining the relationship among early childhood teachers' professionalism awareness, Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights, and personality strength In order to prepare basic data for promoting Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights of early childhood teachers. For this purpose, the research tools were selected according to in daycare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong and Gangwon areas., Finally, 473 copies of the collected questionnaires were used for analysis. The survey data were analyzed by reliability, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. The results of the study showed that the Pearson correlation about the relationship among early childhood teachers' professionalism awareness, Implementing respect of Infant rights, and personality strength was significantly correlated with professionalism awareness, Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights, and personality strength. In addition, the results of the study through regression analysis on the effect of the early childhood teachers' professionalism awareness on the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights through the mediation of personality strength showed that the teachers' professionalism awareness directly explained 31% of the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights, but the effect of personality strength on the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights increased to 71%. And the total effect for verifying the partial mediating effect according to the personality strength was 52%, which proved that the personality strength was partially mediated in the effect of the early childhood teacher's professionalism awareness on the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights. These results suggest that the higher the teachers’ professionalism awareness, the more positive the effect on the Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights and If the teacher’s personality strength is mediated, Implementing childcare in respect of infant rights can be increased. Therefore, this study provides implications for supporting measures to help teachers respect the rights of infants and support childcare by helping them understand their personality strength and recognize them positively in living with others in guiding infants with professionalism.
