디자인 씽킹 기반 발명교육 직무연수 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (The Development and Application of Invention Education In-service Teacher Training Program based on Design Thinking)

초록

이 연구는 디자인 씽킹 기반의 발명교육 직무연수 프로그램을 개발하고, 개발한 프로그램을 적용하여 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 프로그램 개발 연구, 효과 검증 연구로 구분하여 수행하였다. 프로그램 개발은 준비, 개발, 개선의 3단계 절차에 따라 진행되었다. 효과 검증은 발명교육 직무연수에참여한 교사 21명을 대상으로‘단일집단 사후검사’설계를 적용하여 프로그램만족도와 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 디자인 씽킹 기반 발명교육 직무연수 프로그램은 현직교사 대상의 30 차시 연수 프로그램으로 개발되었다. 학교급, 학습자 수준에 따라 IT 도구 및실습재료의 수준별 선택과 활용이 가능하고, 실습시간을 부분적으로 조정 가능하도록 하였다.
둘째, 개발된 프로그램은 학교안전(7대 표준) 테마를 바탕으로 IT 기술을 활용하여 디자인 씽킹 과정에 따라‘학교안전 지킴 장치를 발명하라!’는 미션을수행하는 스토리텔링으로 구성되었다. 테마와 스토리가 있는 연수 프로그램, 3 단계 미션 수행, 로봇 ․ AI ․ IoT 등 4차 산업혁명 시대를 주도할 기술과 발명을연계하여 구성한 연수 프로그램이라는 특색이 있다.
셋째, 개발된 프로그램을 적용한 결과 프로그램에 대한 교사의 만족도가 높았으며, 프로그램 내용의 현장 적용 유용성도 높게 나타났다.
넷째, 개발된 프로그램 적용 전과 후의 발전정도를 분석한 결과, 발명교육 이해, 발명교육 실천, 발명 관련 지식 및 태도 수준 모두 상승했으며 통계적으로도유의미한 효과가 있었다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to develop invention education in-service teacher training program based on design thinking, and apply the program to verify its effects.
The study was divided into two parts, of which the first part involves developing the program and the second with verifying its effects. The program was developed in 3 steps including preparation, development, and improvement. The effects of the program were verified by using a‘one-group posttest only design’to analyze the satisfaction of and effects on 21 teachers who participated in the job training program for invention education. The results of the study were as follows.
First, invention education in-service teacher training program based on design thinking was composed of 30-hours training program for in-service teachers. It is possible to select and use different levels of IT tools and practical materials, and to partially adjust the training duration by learner levels.
Second, based on the themes of the seven standards of school safety, the developed program involved a storyline of completing missions of‘develop a school safety protection device! based on the design thinking process using information technology. The program is unique as it is a training program with themes and storyline and three-stage missions, and consists of technology and inventions that will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era, such as robots, AI, and IoT.
Third, the subject teachers were found to be greatly satisfied with the program applied. It was also found that the content of the program had a high field applicability.
Fourth, the analysis of the level of improvement between before and after applying the program showed that there were statistically significant improvements in all aspects of the level of interest in invention (understanding invention education), level of participation in invention activities (practice of invention education), level of invention-related knowledge, and class attitude.
