초등학생의 고쳐 쓰기 능력 발달 양상 연구 (A study on the rewriting patterns of elementary school students)

초록

목적 이 연구는 초등학생의 고쳐 쓰기 양상을 살피고 저학년, 중학년, 고학년 간 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 분석함으로써 교육적시사점을 얻는 것을 목적으로 한다.
방법 초등학교 2학년, 4학년, 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 고쳐 쓰기를 포함한 쓰기 과제를 제시하여 그 산출물을 수집하였다. 초고와최종고를 비교하여 ‘낱말 수준의 수정 횟수’와 ‘문장 수준의 수정 횟수’를 확인하여 학년 간에 수정량의 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다.
그리고 나서 수정된 텍스트 부분을 코딩 및 범주화하는 방식으로 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 학년 간 수정량과 수정 내용의차이를 도출하였다.
결과 첫째, 낱말 수준의 수정 횟수와 문장 수준의 수정 횟수는 2학년에서 4학년으로 두 배 가까이 증가했다가 6학년에서 감소했다.
둘째, 통사 및 의미론적 수정 사례는 2학년에 비해 4학년과 6학년에서 훨씬 많이 발견되었고 4학년에서 가장 많았으며, 2학년에서는 발견되지 않은 수정 유형이 4학년과 6학년에서 두 가지 발견되었다. 셋째, 4학년과 6학년이 2학년에 비해 훨씬 많은 화용론적수정을 하였고, 4학년과 6학년에서 발견된 사례 수는 유사했으며, 2학년에서 발견되지 않은 수정 유형이 4학년에서 두 가지, 6학년에서 세 가지 발견되었다.
결론 2학년 학생도 번역과 수정을 분리하고 수정에 대한 관점을 제시했을 때 수사적 요소를 고려한 수정이 가능할 수 있음이 확인되었다. 또한 4학년과 6학년은 지식 변형하기 전략을 사용하는 발달 단계에 놓여있다고 볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 6학년은 4학년에 비해수정 횟수와 통사 및 의미론적 수정의 양이 더 적었으나 화용론적 수정의 양은 약간 더 높았고, 비교적 복잡한 수정 양상이 발견되었다.

영어초록

Objectives This study aims to obtain educational implications by examining the rewriting patterns of elementary school students and analyzing the differences between lower, middle, and upper grades.
Methods According to pragmatic semiotics, the interpreter of signs constitutes an immediate, dynamic and final interpretive body. In the writing situation, the writer is both a producer and an interpreter of signs, so he must be able to actively construct such interpretations. Each interpretive body can be specified as a text representation, a reader representation, and a discourse community representation. The cognitive strategies constituting each representation can be explained by the suitability theory, which is a model of pragmatic reasoning.
Results First, the number of word-level and sentence-level modifications nearly doubled from 2nd to 4th grade and then decreased in 6th grade. Second, syntactic and semantic modification cases were found much more fre quently in 4th and 6th grades than in 2nd grade, were the most numerous in 4th grade, and two types of mod ification were found in 4th and 6th grades that were not found in 2nd grade. Third, 4th and 6th grades made much more pragmatic modifications than 2nd grade, and the number of cases found in 4th and 6th grades was similar, and two types of modification were found in 4th grade and three in 6th grade that were not found in 2nd grade.
Conclusions It was confirmed that second-grade students could make revisions that took into account rhetorical elements when translation and revision were separated and perspectives on revision were presented. In addition, fourth-grade and sixth-grade students can be seen as being in the developmental stage of using the knowledge transformation strategy. Finally, sixth-grade students made fewer revisions and less syntactic and semantic re visions than fourth-grade students, but the amount of pragmatic revisions was slightly higher, and a relatively complex revision pattern was found.
