초록

The primary precedence relationships to the Mandolin Shaped Swords culture have been founded at the HeBei(the third stage of WeiFang type and the upper layer of ZhangJiaYuan type), the Southeastern region of Inner Mongolia(the upper layer of XiaJiaDian), the LiaoXi(the WeiYingZi type), and the Siberia(Okunevo culture—Andronovo culture—Karasuk culture—Tagar culture).
The main remains of the third stage of WeiFang type and the upper layer of ZhangJiaYuan type in the HeBei have been consisted of the wooden coffin tomb and the kettle with the rope pattern. Therefore, culture in HeBei might be considered as very different in nature from the Mandolin Shaped Swords culture.
The fact that the upper layer culture of XiaJiaDian in the Inner Mongolia had been applying the stone coffin tomb is similar to that of the Mandolin Shaped Swords. However the former might be much different from the latter in the fact that the former had shown the bronze ware including the bronze dagger with the grip of empty inner part, the earthenware including the kettle with the round knobs, and the funeral customs which bury the animal with the dead. The case of the LiaoXi(the WeiYingZi type) is similar to that of the upper layer culture of XiaJiaDian in the Inner Mongolia. Therefore, these two cultures might not be the origin of the Mandolin Shaped Swords culture.
On the other hand, the culture of bronze ware in the Minusinsk basin of Siberia have been shown the early stage remains of the Mandolin Shaped Swords culture such as the stone coffin tomb, the mandolin-shaped bronze sword, the mandolin-shaped bronze spear, the fan-shaped bronze ax, the black-colored bowl, etc. However, there are no relationships founded between the Minusinsk culture and the Siberia cultures which range from the Okunevo culture upto the Tagar culture.
Considering the above facts, it might be estimated that the Mandolin Shaped Swords culture be started from a tribe with the technique assembling the bronze sword, passed by the upper layer culture of XiaJiaDian in the Inner Mongolia, and then formed at the Northwestern region of the LiaoXi.
