부동산학과 재학생의 인턴십 합격요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinant of Students’ Internship of Undergraduate Real Estate Majors)

초록

본 연구는 부동산학과 학생들의 인턴 합격여부의 영향요인을 파악하고 결과에 따른 시사점을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 분석자료는 수도권 소재 종합 사립대학교 부동산학과 학생의 2018년 2학기와 2019년 1학기 인턴십 지원 서류인 이력서와 자기소개서 및 성적증명서를 활용하였고, 연구대상은 이력서와 자기소개서를 제출한 총 51명의 학생이었다. 먼저 t-test와 -test를 통해 서류전형 및 최종합격 여부에 따른 학생 특성의 차이를 분석하였고, 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 합격 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면, 먼저 t-test와 -test를 통한 학생의 특성에 따른 서류전형 합격여부 및 최종합격 여부의 차이를 검증한 결과, 연령이 높을수록, 인턴십 재수를 했을 경우, 이수학점이 많을수록, 부동산학과 주요과목 이수가 많을수록, 정성평가 점수가 높을수록, 그리고 공인영어점수가 있을 경우 서류전형에 합격할 확률이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 최종전형에 합격할 확률은 관련 자격증이 있을 경우, 정성평가 점수가 높을수록, 공인 영어점수를 보유하고 있을 경우 더 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 더불어 서류전형 및 최종전형 합격 여부에 대한 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 성별, 이수학점 수, 공인 영어성적 변수가 서류전형에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 주었고, 최종전형에는 정성평가와 공인 영어점수 보유여부가 정적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과를 통해 인턴십 합격에 도움이 될 수 있는 시사점들을 논의하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing on the internship offer for undergraduate real estate majors and to draw implications from the results. For the analysis, we used resume, cover letter and transcript of internship applicants from the real estate department of a general private university located in the Seoul metropolitan area in both the second semester of 2018 and the first semester of 2019. The subjects of the study were 51 students who submitted their resume, cover letters and transcript to the same two companies. First, we analyzed the differences in the characteristics of the students according to the results of application assessment and final interview by two companies through t-test and χ2–test, and confirmed the factors influencing on the internship offer letter by two companies through the binomial logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, based on the t-test and χ2-test, it was found that the older the students were, if they re-apply the internship position, the higher number of courses they took, the higher the number of real estate major subjects they took, and if they had an official English score, the more likely they were to pass the application assessment. The probability of passing the final interview was found to be higher when they had the major qualifications and licenses, when they had higher qualitative assessment score and when they had official English scores. In addition, the results of the binomial logistic regression analysis showed that the gender, number of courses taken, and the official English language score had a statistically significant effect on the result of application assessment, and the gender, the qualitative assessment score and the official English language score had a statistically positive effect on the result of final interview. Through these results, we discussed implications that could be helpful for the students to get an internship offer..
