대학생의 프로티언 경력태도가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향 : 긍정심리자본의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Protean Career Attitudes of Undergraduate School Students on Career Decision Level : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Positive Psychological Capital)

초록

본 연구는 직장인의 경력관리 연구에 한정되었던 프로티언 경력태도를 대학생에게 확대 적용함으로써 향후 대학생의 진로준비와 진로결정 역량을 키울 수 있도록 하고 프로티언 경력태도의 연구 범위를 확대하는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 대학생의 프로티언 경력태도가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 개인 심리적 특성인 긍정심리자본의 조절효과를 검증하고자 했다.
본 연구의 실증분석을 위해서 대학교 재학생 230명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 데이터를 수집하고 분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 살펴보면, 프로티언 경력태도의 자기주도성은 진로확신수준과 진로미결정수준에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치고 있으며 가치지향성은 진로확신수준에만 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 긍정심리자본의 요소 중 자기효능감은 자기주도성과 진로미결정수준과의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타냈으며 희망은 자기주도성과 진로확신수준과의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타냈다. 마지막으로 복원력은 가치지향성과 진로확신수준과의 관계에서 조절효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.
본 연구의 시사점은 그동안 경력자를 대상으로 연구되던 프로티언 경력태도 연구가 대학생에게도 적용될 수 있는 실증적 이론임을 보여 준 것이며 프로티언 경력태도가 대학생 시기의 경력목표인 진로결정수준과의 관계를 실증적으로 규명한 의미 있는 시도였다. 또한 대학생에게 프로티언 경력태도 및 긍정심리자본을 높이기 위해 진로 상담 및 교육프로그램 개발의 필요성을 실증적으로 확인하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of undergraduate school student’s protean experience attitude on his/her career decision level and to verify the regulation effect of positive psychological capital, a personal psychological attribute. For the empirical analysis, this study conducted a survey targeting 230 undergraduate school students, and proved the hypotheses for this study by analyzing the collected data. Looking into the findings of this study, it was identified that the protean experience attitude’s self-direction affected some positive (+) influence on the respondents’ career confidence level and their career non-decision level, and the value-orientation affected some positive (+) influence only on the respondents’ career confidence level. Besides, it was found that the self-efficiency sense, a factor of positive psychological capital shoed some regulation effect in the relationship between the self-direction and the career non-decision level, and the hope showed some regulation effect in the relationship between the self-direction and the self confidence level. Finally, it was identified that the elasticity power had some regulation effect in the relationship between the value orientation and the career confidence level. The implications of this study were that while existing studies researched the protean experience attitude targeting the skilled workers until now, but this study proved the protean career attitude was an empirical theory to be applied toward undergraduate school students, and this study was also a very meaningful trial empirically proving the relationship between the protean experience attitude and the career confidence level, the career target during the undergraduate school days. Additionally, this study empirically identified the need for developing counseling and education programs in order for undergraduate school students to enhance their protean experience attitude and positive psychological capital.
