초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the influencing relationships among the neighborhood disorder, place attachment, social capital and residential environment satisfaction of the elderly of old CBD in Sun-cheon city, and go find policy implications on successful the aging-friendly urban regeneration’ strategies. To accomplish this purpose, such as this study re-examines the advance literatures about neighborhood disorder, place attachment, social capital, and elderly residential satisfaction. And then develops this study hypotheses, and finally examines them using the SEM.
The main results are as follows. Firstly, the neighborhood disorder affects the place attachment, the social capital and the elderly residential environment satisfaction negatively. However, the elderly’s the place attachment is very strong affecting factor to the social capital and the elderly residential environment satisfaction. Finally, the elderly’s social capital has a positive effect the elderly residential environment satisfaction positively. Here is the policy implications. The old CBD’s regeneration should be looking a new approach for aged society. In order words, the place attachment and the social capital should be continuously maintained in old CBD’s community. Above all, the government should prepare the aging-friendly urban regeneration and the aging in place’s policy and program for the elderly residents and community.
