지속가능한 식생활교육 관점에서 2022 개정 실과 교육과정 분석 및 교수·학습 방법 탐색 (Analysis of 2022 Revised Practical Arts Curriculum and Proposal of Teaching and Learning Methods from the Perspective of Sustainable Food Education)

초록

본 연구는 지속가능한 식생활교육 내용 체계를 근거로 2022 개정 실과 교육과정을 분석하여 지속가능한 식생활교육의 핵심 가치가 구체적으로 다루어지고 있는지 분석해보고, 이를 바탕으로 ‘지속가능성’이 충분히 반영된 교수·학습 방법을 탐색하고자 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 2022 개정 실과 교육과정의 성취기준 등을 분석한 결과, ‘인간 발달과 주도적 삶’, ‘생활환경과 지속가능한 선택’, ‘지속가능한 기술과 융합’ 총 3개 영역이 지속가능한 식생활교육 내용과 직간접적으로 관련되어 있었다. 또한, 지속가능한 식생활교육 내용 체계 중에서 초등 성취기준에 해당하는 9개의 중영역, 18개의 소영역에 해당하는 모든 영역이 2022 개정 실과 교육과정의 성취기준에 반영되어있으며, 이를 통해 2015 실과 교육과정보다 진일보한 지속가능한 식생활교육으로 구현될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 식생활교육 측면에서 실과 교과와 연계가 가능한 초등 교과와 내용 요소를 분석한 결과 사회, 도덕, 과학, 수학 교과에서 ‘지속가능’의 개념이 포함된 내용을 찾을 수 있었으며, 이를실과 교과의 지속가능한 식생활교육과 연계하여 통합교육을 실시한다면 ‘학생의 삶과 연계된 교육’, ‘지속가능한 교육’이 보다 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 2022 개정 실과 교육과정 각 영역의 성취기준을 주제 중심으로 통합하여 지속가능한 식생활교육을 위한 교수·학습 방법을 제안하였으며, 학생들이 일상생활과 연계하여 이해하고 실천할 수 있는 주제 중심의 활동으로 수업을 구성하였다.
기후변화 등으로 미래 사회의 불확실성이 대두되고 있는 현시점에서 개정된 2022 실과 교육과정은‘지속가능성’ 개념이 더욱 표면화되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 시대적 요구에 부합하기 위해 시도되었으며, 교사들이 지속가능한 식생활교육에 대한 의미를 명확히 이해하고 교육할 수 있도록 그 방향성을 제시하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 실과 교과서 등의 개발에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다

영어초록

This study analyzed the 2022 revised Practical Arts curriculum from the perspective of sustainable food education to evaluate whether the core values and elements of sustainable food education are fully addressed, and proposed possible teaching and learning methods reflecting sustainability. The results were as following.
First, as a result of analyzing the achievement standards of the 2022 revised Practical Arts curriculum, three areas including ‘human development and leading life’, ‘living environment and sustainable choice’, and ‘sustainable technology and conversion’ were directly or indirectly related to the contents of sustainable food education. In addition, based on the sustainable food education content systems, all 9 areas and 18 small areas corresponding to elementary achievement standards were reflected in the achievement standards of the 2022 revised Practical Arts curriculum, confirming that sustainable food education could be implemented better than the 2015 Practical Arts curriculum. Second, the concept of ‘sustainability’ was found in the elementary subjects of Social Studies, Ethics, Science, and Mathematics subjects, therefore, they can be linked to sustainable food education in Practical Arts to improve the education effect by fulfilling ‘education directly linked to student’s life’, and ‘sustainable education’ that are the direction of 2022 national curriculum. Third, teaching and learning methods for sustainable food education were proposed by integrating achievement standards of the 2022 revised Practical Arts curriculum and organizing the contents as theme-based activities that students can understand and practice in connection with their daily lives.
In a period that uncertainties in the future society are emerging including climate change, the concept and importance of sustainability became apparent in the revised 2022 Practical Arts curriculum.
This study was attempted to meet these demands of the times and contribute to presenting the direction so that teachers can clearly understand and educate the meaning of sustainable food education. In addition, it can be used as basic materials for the development of Practical Arts textbooks according to the 2022 revised curriculum
