초록

In this study, we defined the direction(0°, 45°, 90°) of Four-step inclined artificial reef. We used the Morison equation to calculate the forces incident on an artificial reef due to waves acting in the 0°, 45°, and 90° directions as a function of the working surface of the fluid, and then analyzed the stability of the artificial reef. This enables us to predict whether actual reefs in the field will be stable during engineering projects. We proposed a value for the stable weight of the artificial reef considered in this study based on its projection area. The wave forces acting on the artificial reef in the 45° and 90° directions were found to be about 40% larger than those induced by the flow in the 0° direction. Hence, the artificial reef remains stable against flows incident in the 0° direction under high wave conditions, but flows in the 45° and 90° directions cause it to slide in an unstable manner. This result suggests that it is not sufficient to analyze the stability of artificial reefs against forces in the direction of the predominant flows; we must also analyze the forces caused by flows from other directions. This will allow us to be confident that the reef will perform as intended. Also As a result of the stable weight study of the artificial reef the drag coefficient should be accurately determined for economic design.
