백석 시에 나타난 치유적 기능 (Healing capabilities poems appeared in BaekSeok)

초록

본 연구는 백석 시에 나타나는 치유적 기능을 살펴 그 유인(誘因) 양상을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
문학이 갖는 고유한 기능에는 포이에시스의 기능, 아이스테시스의 기능, 카타르시스의 기능이 있다. 본 연구가 백석 시에 나타나는 치유적 기능을 탐색하는 원리도 이것을 방법론으로 차용하였다. 이에 따라 백석 시에 작용하는 치유적 기능의 유인 양상은 자기 체험의 서사화, 공동체 감각을 통한 자기 통합, 자기 발견과 개인 정서의 표현으로 구분할 수 있었다.
먼저, 백석의 시에서 포이에시스 기능을 일으키는 원인은 백석이 직접 겪은 체험을 서사화하는 방식에서 찾아 볼 수 있다. 백석은 자기 경험을 대상으로 시를 쓰고 있고 이것은 그가 표출하고자 하는 내적 세계를 대변한다. 백석이 참되다고 느끼고 생각하는 세계는 그가 머물고 있는 현재와는 이질적인 세계이다. 백석은 일제 강점기 아래 일어나는 당시 사회의 변화를 인식하고 이에 대한 거부로 전통이 살아있는 과거의 시간으로 거슬러 올라간다. 백석에게 과거의 시간은 그가 직면한 근대를 벗어나고 극복하기 위한 자리가 되고 있다.
다음으로, 백석의 시에서 아이스테시스 기능의 유인 현상은 새것을 추앙하고 옛것을 경시하는 근대 사회풍조의 일반화에 대한 부정에서 비롯된다. 옛것은 버려야 할 낡은 것으로 치부하고 새로운 것은 우월하고 지향해야 할 것으로 간주하는 태도에 대한 반성적 사고는 정체성 인식과 연결되며 사유의 전환을 불러온다. 백석의 시에서 고향이나 음식 그리고 풍속을 통한 공동체 감각은 자기 정체성을 확인하는 자기 통찰과 통합의 의미로 작용한다. 백석 시가 갖는 옛것은 정신의 영원성으로 자리하며 소중한 가치로 부상한다. 따라서 옛것으로 보이는 백석 시의 과거지향은 물질 만능주의로 흐르는 근대사회에 대한 비판적 인식과 그에 대한 거부의 자세로 볼 수 있다.
마지막으로, 백석의 시에서 카타르시스는 조정 이론으로 해석할 수 있다. 조정 이론은 감정을 차단하는 것이 아니라 연민과 공포를 적절하게 활용하는 것이 더 유익하다는 견해이다. 백석의 시에는 측은지심이 동반된 쓸쓸함의 정서가 작용하고 있는 데서 이러한 기능을 살필 수 있다. 그의 시에서 쓸쓸함은 당대 현실에 대한 고민과 아픔이 여과된 지식인의 정서이며 자기 존재가 드러나는 개인의 정서이다. 백석은 당대 일제 강점기 현실에서 적극적인 항거와 투쟁으로 나아가지 못했던 자신의 고뇌와 사유를 쓸쓸함의 정서로 표출한다.
백석의 시를 치유적 관점에서 살폈을 때 그의 시가 갖는 과거의 시간과 정서의 표출은 현실에 대한 그의 고민과 사유의 흔적이며 현실을 견디고 극복하기 위한 방법이 되고 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the healing features that appear in the poems of BaekSeok says that incentives aspect purposes.
The unique feature of this literature has features poiesis, features of aesthesis, the ability of catharsis. The study also browse the principle of healing features that appear in the poems of BaekSeok was borrowed by this methodology. Accordingly, the ability to attract aspect of therapeutic action in the cities of BaekSeok could be divided into integrated representations of self, self-discovery and personal emotions through narrative, community, a sense of self-experience.
First, it causes the function of poiesis in the cities of BaekSeok is BaekSeok be found in the way that narrative the experience undergone directly. BaekSeok is to write a poem with his own experience and this target should represent to express his inner world. BaekSeok the world think and feel is true is that he is currently staying in an alien world. BaekSeok recognize the changes taking place in society at the time of the Japanese occupation force and the tradition dates back to a past time living in denial about it. Past time to BaekSeok has become a place to get away for overcoming modernity he faced.
Next, the development of incentives aesthesis features in the poems of BaekSeok come from negative generalizations about the modern social trend that seeks to downplay the new and the old. It dismissed as old and new is to throw away old attitudes that reflective thinking is considered to be superior to the connection-oriented and identity-aware and brings up the conversion of reasons. Sense of community through the home, food and customs in the cities of BaekSeok serves as a means of self-insight and integration to confirm their identity. It appears from the ancient cities of BaekSeok means the eternity of the spirit, and emerged as the precious value. Thus, the past appears to be oriented appearing in the poems of BaekSeok old can be seen as a critical attitude and refusal to recognize them for the flowing into the materialism of modern society.
Finally, it appears from the poem catharsis in the BaekSeok may adjust theoretical analysis. Adjust theory is the opinion that it would be more beneficial to take advantage of pity and horror, as appropriate, rather than block the emotions. BaekSeok poems of compassion has the emotion of loneliness is accompanied can watch the action and that these features. Loneliness in his poem is an individual's emotional distress and pain and emotions are revealed the presence of a magnetic filtration intellectuals on contemporary reality. BaekSeok is channeled into active protest sentiments of loneliness and their anguish and reason things did come into force during the occupation period in the real struggles of contemporary Japan.
As seen approaching from the therapeutic point of view of poetry BaekSeok, expressed in his poetry and emotion which is past time worrying and thinking about the signs of his reality has become a way to overcome the enduring reality.
