텍스트의 시공간적 특성과 계약적 글쓰기-이육사 시와 윤동주 시의 비교 연구- (Characteristics of Time-Space for Text and Contactual Writing -Comparative Study of Yi Yuk-sa's Poetry and Yoon Dong-ju’s Poetry-)

초록

이 연구는 이육사의 시와 윤동주의 시를 매체에 대한 기대지평의 관점에서 비교하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 비교의 항목은 두 시인의 시에 나타난 시간 의식과 공간 의식이다. 시간 의식과 공간 의식은 이 글에서 해명하려고 하는 매체에 대한 기대지평, 당대의 평가와 사후적 평가의 차이, 계약과 전기적 사실의 조응 관계 등을 드러내주는 텍스트의 표지이다. 이를 위해서 이 글은 첫째로 연구의 방법론을 설명하고, 둘째로 비교의 항목을 분석하고, 셋째로 비교된 항목을 매체의 기대지평과 쓰기의 사후성의 관점에서 종합할 것이다.
인쇄물에 대한 일제의 검열이 삼엄하게 이루어지고 제도권 바깥의 지하 매체가 없던 상황에서 일제에 대한 저항의식은 변형되거나 위장된 형식과 내용으로 매체화된다. 이러한 매체화의 조건이 두 시인의 ‘같음’에 해당된다면, 두 시인의 삶의 환경에서 나타난 저항의 방법과 그에 대한 쓰기 인식의 차이는 다름에 해당된다. 단언하자면, 이육사의 쓰기는 행위 이후에 이루어지고 윤동주의 쓰기는 행위 이전에 이루어진다. 이로 인해서 저항의식의 사회적·개인적 고취라는 주제의 표현은 각기 다른 양상으로 분화된다. 첫째로 시간 의식을 추적할 수 있는 텍스트의 시제가, 둘째로 시작(詩作)이 이루어지는 메타적인 공간과 텍스트의 사건에 나타난 공간이 서로 달라진다.
일제 강점기의 두 저항 시인의 연구사에 발견되는 가장 큰 문제점은 당대의 평가와 현재의 평가를 동일시한다는 것이다. 이 문제는 쓰기의 시점과 쓴 것을 수용하는 독서의 시점을 동일시하는 것에서 발생한다. 이 연구는 표현과 수용의 도식에 매체적 관점을 도입하여 방법론적으로는 문자가 매체화의 과정에서 어떻게 행위를 반영하는가의 문제를 규명하고 문학사적으로는 두 시인을 둘러싼 여전한 논쟁거리인 문학적 저항의 실체 여부를 판단할 것이다.

영어초록

This study aims to compare Yi Yuk-sa's poetry and Yoon Dong-ju’s poetry from the perspective of the horizon of expectations for media. The items of comparison are the consciousnesses of time and space that appeared in the two poets’ poetry. The consciousness of time and the consciousness of space are the indicators of the text, which reveal the horizon of expectations for media that this study would explain, the difference between the evaluation of the time and the ex-post facto evaluation and the corresponding relationship between contract and biographical fact. For this purpose, this study would, first, describe the methodology of the research; second, analyze the items of comparison; and third, sum up the compared items from the perspectives of the horizon of expectations for media and the deferred action of writing.
In the situation where printed materials were strictly censored by the Japanese Empire, and there were no underground media outside the system, the consciousness of resistance against the Japanese Empire became a medium in modified or disguised forms and contents. This condition of the mediatization comes under the sameness of the two poets while the difference in the method of resistance and the awareness of writing appeared in the environment of the two poets’ lives comes under the difference between them. Surely, Yi Yuk-sa’s writing is done after acting, while Yoon Dong-ju’s writing is done before acting. Accordingly, the expression of the topic, the social and personal inspiration of resistance consciousness is divided into a different phase respectively. First, the tense of the text by which time consciousness can be traced differs, and second, the meta-space where poetry is written differs from the space in the events of the text.
The biggest problem discovered in the history of research on two resistance poets during the Japanese colonial era is the identification of the evaluation of the time and that of the present. This issue occurs in the identification of the time of writing with the time of reading that accepts the writing. This study would methodologically investigate the issue of how actions are reflected in the process of the mediatization of text, introducing the perspective of media in the schema of expression and acceptance and judge whether the literary resistance is real, which still is a controversial issue, surrounding the two poets from the perspective of the history of literature.
