초록

In order to achieve carbon neutrality in the agricultural sector, the government presented the expansion of the cultivated areas of eco-friendly agriculture as a major strategic task. In order to achieve these policy goals, incentives are required to expand the cultivated area of eco-friendly agriculture. Currently, the government only presents the policy goal of expanding the cultivated area of eco-friendly agriculture, and did not present clear policy means or incentives to achieve the goal. The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic analysis of low-carbon organic farming technology by examining the production cost and income of organic farming practices and comparing and analyzing it with conventional farming. The survey selected 11 farms that adopted the Viviparoidea farming method in Yeongam, Jeollanam-do and Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do, and investigated production costs and income through in-depth interviews and compared the results with conventional farms. As a result of the analysis, the income of organic farmers was significantly lower than that of conventional farms, and in particular, the income of organic farmers in Nonsan was negative (−). It was analyzed that the organic farms had a higher proportion of direct production costs, including Agricultural Machinery Depreciation Cost and labor, compared to conventional farms, eroding the income of farm households. It suggests that appropriate incentives are needed to expand the cultivated area of eco-friendly agriculture, and that subsidies for eco-friendly agriculture that exceed the profits that would have been achieved through conventional agriculture are required.
