세종시 특성화고 설립을 위한 교육수요자의 요구 분석 연구 (A Study on Analysis of the Demands of the Educational Demanders for Establishing Vocational High School in Sejong-si)

초록

본 연구는 세종시의 중학생과 학부모의 세종시 특성화고 설립에 관한 요구를 분석하여 세종시 특성화고 설립에 필요한 시사점을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
이를 위해서 세종시 중학교 학생 및 학부모가 인식하는 세종시 특성화고 설립에 필요한 수요, 희망학과 등의 요구를 조사하여 분석하였다. 설문 조사 대상은 세종시전체 중학교에서 학교별 3학년 1학급에서 표집된 학생과 학부모를 선정하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 세종시의 중학생 및 학부모는 특성화고에 대해 대체로 낮은 인식을갖고 있지만 세종시에 신설될 특성화고의 진학 가능성은 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 세종시의 중학생 및 학부모는 세종시에 신설될 특성화고의 교육 운영체계로 취업 희망 학생 특별 전형제(우선 입학제) 실시, 학과 간 전과 가능성확보, 학습 능력에 따른 진급 제도의 다양화, 일반고 학생과의 상호 전학 및편입 자율화를 요구하였다. 교육시스템으로는 원활한 취업을 위한 학교-산업체연계 시스템, 고등 직업교육기관과의 연계시스템, 산업체 직무 중심의 현장 교육 시스템 등을 요구하였으며, 교육 수준 및 범위로는 대학과 연계 가능한 전공 기초 교육, 취업에 특화된 산업체 현장 중심의 전공 심화 교육, 복수 전공교육, 글로벌 전문 교육, 창의적 융합교육, 창업교육 등을 요구하였다. 그리고교육 환경으로는 학생 기숙사 설치, 스마트 교육 환경 구축, 시청(또는 교육청) 에 취업 및 산학협력 지원기관 설치, 교사의 정례적 산업 현장 전문성 강화 연수 보장, 학급 당 인원 수 감축 등을 요구하였다. 셋째, 세종시의 중학생 및 학부모는 세종시에 신설될 특성화고의 학과로 정보통신 ․ 소프트웨어과, 조리 ․ 식음료과, 기계 ․ 자동차과, 문화콘텐츠과, 전기 ․ 전자과등을 요구하였다. 이상의 결과와 더불어 세종시 예상 인력 수요를 종합하여 신설될 세종시 특성화고의 적정 학과는 조리 ․ 식음료과, 기계․자동차과, 문화콘텐츠과, 전기 ․ 전자과, 이․미용과, 금융과, 경영 ․ 사무과로 제언하고자 한다.

영어초록

The purposes of this research are to analyze demands of the educational demanders such as middle school students and their parents in Sejong-si for establishment of vocational high school and suggests implications for the establishment. To achieve them, demands recognized by the educational demanders for establishment of vocational high school, desirable departments, etc. were analyzed by a survey. The subject target of the survey was students and their parents, selected in Class 1 of the third grade of each middle school in Sejong-si. Results of the research are as follows.
First, the educational demanders had low awareness toward vocational high school, but there were relatively high possibilities to enter vocational high school which will be newly established in Sejong-si.
Second, the educational demanders requested special enrollment system preferred enrollment system for students who want to be employed, possibility to transfer department, verification of promotion system by learning ability, mutual transfer with general high school students and automatic transfer system as the educational operation systems of vocational high school which will be newly established in Sejong-si. As educational systems, they wanted industry-school connective system for activating employment, connective system with the high occupational education institution, the field education system of industrial jobs, etc. and as educational standard and range, they wanted the specialized basic education which can be connected with post-secondary education, major in-depth education of industrial field specialized for employment, multi-major education, global professional education, creative convergence education, start-up education and others. In addition, as educational environment, they wanted dormitory, smart educational environment, recruitment of city hall and industry-school cooperative supporting institution, training of industrial field professionalism for teachers, reduction of class members and others.
Third, the educational demanders wanted Department of Information Communication․Software, Cuisine․Food and Beverage, Mechanic․Automobile, Cultural Contents, Electricity․Electronics and others as departments of vocational high school which will be newly established in Sejong-si.
As this result and the expected demand of workers in Sejong-si are combined, this thesis suggest that reasonable departments of vocational high school which will be newly established in Sejong-si were Department of Cuisine․Food and Beverage, Mechanic․Automobile, Cultural Contents and others.
