교육운영 특색사업에 따른 고교생의 학업성취도 분석 (An Analysis of Academic Achievement of High School Students by Specialized School Programs)

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 교육운영 특색사업 여부에 따라 고등학생의 학업성취도에 유의미한 영향이 있는지를 탐색하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 사업을 개선 및 유지하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 2020년 한국교육학술정보원의 EDSS(EduData Service System)에서 제공하는 학교정보공시 자료를 활용하여 교육운영 특색사업 여부에 따라 고교 학업성취도에 차이가 있는지를 독립표본 t-검정을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 교과교실제는 운영 여부에 따라 영어 기초학력 미달 학생 수와 수학 보통학력 이상 학생 수에서 유의한 차이를 보였고 이를 제외한 나머지 종속변수에서는 교과교실제 운영여부에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 수준별 이동수업은 운영여부에 따라 국어, 영어, 수학 보통학력 이상 학생 수, 영어 기초학력 미달 학생 수에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, 국어와 수학교과 기초학력 미달 학생 수는 수준별 이동수업 운영여부에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 자율학교의 경우 운영 여부에 따라 모든 종속변수에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 영어교육 프로그램은 운영여부에 따라 영어 보통학력 이상 학생 수에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, 기초학력 미달 학생 수는 운영여부에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구를 통해 교육운영 특색사업과 고교생의 학업성취도를 횡단적으로 분석함으로써 프로그램의 효과성을 진단하고, 나아가야할 방향을 제시했다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영어초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore whether there is a significant impact on the academic performance of high school students according to whether or not they are specialized in a school program and to improve and maintain the project based on the results. Method: In 2020, the school information disclosure data provided by the EDS (EduData Service System) of the Korea Educational Information Institute were used to analyze whether there was a difference in high school academic performance depending on the Specialized School Programs. Results: The number of students who did not have basic English education and those who did not have regular mathematics or higher education differed significantly depending on whether the system was operated or not, and the remaining subordinate variables showed no significant difference depending on whether the system was operated or not. Depending on the level of operation, mobile classes showed significant differences in the number of students above the basic level of Korean, English, math, and general education, and the number of students below the basic level of English, and mathematics did not show significant differences depending on the level of operation of the mobile classes. For autonomous schools, there were significant differences in all dependent variables depending on whether they were operated or not. The English education program showed a significant difference in the number of students above the average English education level, and the number of students below the basic education level showed no significant difference depending on the operation status. Conclusion: It is meaningful that this study diagnosed the effectiveness of the program and suggested directions to move forward by analyzing educational management features and high school students' academic performance across the country.
