초록

항공운송산업의 급속한 성장에 발맞추어 교육기관에서는 관련 학과의 꾸준한 증설과 증원 및 관련학과 신설과 편제조정을 통한 학과 전환이 이루어지면서 양적 증가가 이루어지고 있다. 또한, 여성들의 직업에 대한 평가에 있어서 항공사 객실승무원은 높은 연봉과 복리후생제도가 잘 되어 있기 때문에 높은 선호도를 보이고 있는 이유로 항공사 객실승무원 지원자는 점차 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 시장 환경의 변화로 인하여 치열한 항공사 공채 경쟁률에 비해 항공사 취업을 희망하는 지원자들의 급증하게 되는 현상이 발생하고 있는 상황이다.
특히, 항공서비스 전공 대학생들은 입학할 때부터 항공사 객실승무원만을 희망하여 전공을 선택하여 진로를 선택한 학생들이 대부분이기 때문에 정상적인 전공교육을 정상적으로 이수하였음에도 불구하고 취업역량과 취업조건의 부족함을 느끼게 되어 진로에 대한 불안과 열등감을 가지기 쉽다이러한 환경으로 인하여 항공서비스 전공 대학생은 재학기간 동안 많은 혼란을 겪고 있기 때문에 대학생의 진로정체감은 혼란감을 해결할 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있기 때문에 진로정체감 형성은 중요한 주제라 할 수 있다. 진로정체감의 형성은 자기이해로 시작하여 긍정적인 자기평가, 직업 정보의 탐색과 합리적인 의사결정능력이 결합된 자기에 대한 이미지를 만들게 되기 때문에 진로정체감의 발달과정을 통해서 혼란감을 해소 할 수 있게 되어 진로 의사결정에서 긍정적인 방향을 추구하게 될 것이다.
따라서 본 연구는 항공서비스 전공 대학생의 직업이미지와 전공만족도와의 관련성을 파악하고 진로정체감 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하여 실질적으로 항공서비스 관련 학과 또는 전공을 개설ㆍ운영하고 있는 대학교육기관의 진로지도를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 연구를 진행한 결과, 직업이미지가 전공만족도와 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영어초록

In line with the rapid growth of the air transportation industry, educational institutions are quantitatively increasing with the continuous expansion of related departments and the increase of departments and the change of departments through the establishment and adjustment of associated departments. Besides, in terms of women's occupations, cabin crews have a high preference because of the high salary and benefits program, so applicants are increasing. Such changes in the market environment are leading to a rapid increase in the number of applicants who want to get a job with the airline compared to the fierce competition of the airline public employment. In particular, since college students who majored in aviation services chose career paths to become airline cabin crew members from admission, They are easy to have a feeling of inferiority as they felt a lack of job competence and working conditions even though they completed the major courses.
Because of this environment, the aviation service college students have a lot of confusion while they are in school. Therefore, the formation of a Career Identity, which can be a solution to the confusion, is an important topic. As the formation of a Career Identity begins with self-understanding, creating an image of self that combines positive self-assessment, search for job information, and rational decision-making ability, the students will resolve confusion and seek a positive direction in career decision-making through the development process of Career Identity. Therefore, this study examines the relationship between the vocational image and major satisfaction of college students in the aviation service major, and how it affects the formation of career identity to provide necessary data for career guidance of university educational institutions that open and operate departments or majors related to aviation services. The finding of this study showed that the vocational image affects major satisfaction and career identity.
