대학생용 사회정서역량 척도 개발 (Development of the social emotional competency Scale for university students)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생용 사회정서역량 척도를 개발하고 타당성을 검증하는 데 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기위해 설정한 연구내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 사회정서역량을 측정하기 위한 문항을 개발한다. 둘째, 대학생용사회정서역량 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 평가한다. 대학생용 사회정서역량 척도 개발은 크게 문항 개발, 예비 조사, 본 조사 단계를 통해 이루어졌다. 문항개발 단계에서는 문헌연구 및 이론 고찰을 통해 사회정서역량의 하위요인을자기인식, 자기조절, 타인인식, 관계관리, 책임 있는 의사결정으로 설정하였으며, 하위요인에 부합되는 문항 82개를제작하였다. 이후 전문가 3명에게 내용타당도 검증을 받았으며, 대학생 10명을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하여 총59개의 본 조사 문항을 선정하였다. 본 조사 단계에서는 대학생 230명의 자료를 분석하여 자기인식 11문항, 자기조절7문항, 타인인식 8문항, 관계관리 10문항, 책임 있는 의사결정 10문항을 포함하는 총 46개 최종 문항을 확정하였다.
본 연구에서 개발된 대학생용 사회정서역량 척도는 구인타당도, 모형적합도, 공인타당도, 신뢰도 모두 양호한 것으로나타났다. 대학생의 사회정서역량을 보다 타당하고, 신뢰롭게 측정하여 대학생의 사회정서역량 연구를 활성화하고, 나아가 대학생의 사회정서역량 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 등 다양한 접근을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a scale for the social emotional competency of university students and to verify their validity. The research contents to achieve the purpose of this study are as follows. First, develop items to measure social emotional competency of university students. Second, evaluate the validity and reliability of the social emotional competency scale. The social emotional competency scale development for university students was accomplished through the stage of item development, pilot test, main test. In the stage of item development, five subcomponents of the social emotional competency scale were identified based on the result of literature review, which are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and responsible decision making. A total of 82 items that meet the subcomponents were developed. The content validity was verified by experts, and a pilot test was conducted on 10 university students. After that, a total of 59 items were selected for main test. In the stage of main test, a total of 46 items that are 11 items for self-awareness and 7 items for self-management, 8 items for social awareness, 10 items for relationship management, 10 items for responsible decision making were finally confirmed by analyzing the data of 230 university students. The social emotional competency scale of university students developed in this study showed good discrimination validity, construct validity, model suitability, concurrent validity, and reliability. The social emotional competency scale developed in this study can more appropriately and reliably measure the social emotional competency of university students. This scale can be useful as primary data for various approaches such as further research on the social emotional competency and developing program to promote the social emotional competency.
