초록

In this paper, I examined the management type of Song marine trader and their dwelling area in Koryo. First, there were three types of management; selling products, intermediation and transportation. Especially in the historical records both intermediation and transportation appear Du-gang(都綱).
In the Song Dynasty, Du-gang(都綱) meant the owner of ship. They intermediated and transported goods for neighbor countries using their ship. From early Song Dynasty, Song marine trader had been proceeded to specialization of function already. So there were merchants of supply who sold goods to neighbor countries and merchants who intermediated and transported goods reflecting demand of neighbor countries, too.
Meanwhile in Koryo, there was inn(客館) in Koryo capital where Song marine trader lived. The King of Koryo had authority through personal tribute system. Because of this reason King of Koryo demand Song marine trader the form of tribute. Consequently in spite of domestic service of Koryo, Song marine trader performed role of delegate. Therefore Koryo offered them inn as delegate's address.
As people of Song's Du-gang(都綱) intermediated and transported goods for Koryo, naturally they lived at Koryo for a long period. From this process, they took Korean women as their wives. In those days Korean called their dwelling adress Tang-sang-guan(唐商館). It came out from early 12C and it was different from traditional inn(客館) which combined business and address. And Yae-sung-hang(禮成港) apart from Koryo capital about 30 li(里) was official port of Koryo. Therefore it is assumed that there was a space such as their residential area or warehouse.
