발달장애 아동의 정서적 삶에 대한 해석학적 이해 (A hermeneutic study on the developmental disorder children’s emotional life)

초록

본 연구는 발달장애 아동의 정서적 삶에 대한 논문으로 실천적 학문인 해석학적 연구 방법을 원용하여, 발달장애 아동의 정서적 삶에 대한 현상과 그 의미를 해석학적으로 이해함으로써, 발달장애 아동이 삶을 영위하는 생활세계 내에서의 실존적 상황과 그 교육적 함의를 이해하고자 하였다. 해석학적인 탐구 방법을 적용한 연구 활동에서 발달장애 아동과의 상호주관적인 관계를 통하여 경험의 의미를 존재론적으로 이해하려고 하였다. 본 연구는 2010년 9월부터 2012년 6월까지 J시에 거주하는 초등학생 4명을 대상으로 문헌분석, 참여관찰, 비구조적 면담, 협의 등의 방법을 통하여 자료를 수집하고 해석하였다. 연구자가 발달장애 아동의 정서적 삶에 대한 텍스트를 해석하고 의미를 부여한 결과는 첫째, 발달장애 아동의 정서는 자유롭고 유동적이며 탄력적이어서 그들의 감정에 충실하고 자신들의 비밀스러운 세계에 남아 있는 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 발달장애 아동의 사고 체계는 본능에 가깝고 자유분방하며 발달장애 아동의 사고와 인지 자체는 인간 본연의 모습을 보여주고 있었다. 셋째, 발달장애 아동은 스스로의 행동 속에서 집착과 일탈, 모방과 질서 등의 실천적 지혜를 경험하고 실천하고 있으며, 발달장애 아동의 행동 양식과 표현 행위는 또 다른 정서적 경험의 표현 양식이었다.

영어초록

This study presents the conditions of developmental disorder children’s emotional life and explores the meaning of their emotional experience by hermeneutic inquiring method as a reflective praxis. That is, this study tries to understand the developmental disorder children’s existential circumstances in the life-Worlds where they have leaded their life and some educational implications as the result of them by the hermeneutic inquiry.
In the study I would enlarge and reconstruct my new horizon by my endless reflection and criticism through open mind on my present horizon, and in addition, in the process, understand the meaning of intersubjective relative experience with developmental disorder children.
I would scrutinize the existential conditions of developmental disorder children’s emotional life from the ontological-hermeneutic viewpoint going beyond the reductional, positivistic, and functionalistic one.
For the study, I select four children staying in J city and gather some materials for the study from them by literature analyses on the subject, participative observation of them, non-structural interviews and discussions with them, and interpret the materials from September 2010 to June 2012. In order to understand developmental disorder children’s emotional life, I write some texts based on my observation journals to describe developmental disorder children’s everyday life and their friendship with peers, and my interview manuscripts with their parents. And then I interpret those texts searching for rich and deep meaning.
The results of the study to interpret and signify the texts concerning developmental disorder children’s emotional life are as followed.
Firstly, developmental disorder children’s emotional aspects are faithful to their own sentiment and often remain in secrecy because of their not fixed, free and flexible traits.
Secondly, the developmental disorder children’s thinking systems border on their instincts and present their free thinking traits without restraint. developmental disorder children’s thought and cognition show their naive and unaffected human nature.
Thirdly, the developmental disorder children experience and practice their attachment and deviation, and phroneses such as imitations and order. Their behavioral modes and expressive behaviour are another mode of emotive experience.
