‘자폐’ 관련 전국단위 주요 신문사와 방송사의 보도형태 변화 분석 (Analysis of Changes in Reporting Patterns of Major Newspapers and Broadcasters Nationwide related to ‘Autism’)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 장애 유형 중 비중이 증가하고 있는 ‘자폐’ 관련 언론사(전국단위 신문사와 방송사)의 보도형태 변화를 분석하여 그 결과를 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 설정한보도형태의 변화의 분기점은 2022년 인기리에 반영된 ‘이상한 변호사 우영우’ 드라마이다. 본연구에서 사용한 주요 연구방법론은 ‘텍스트 마이닝(text mining)’과 ‘언어네트워크 분석(semantic network analysis)’이다. 본 연구에서는 한국언론진흥재단의 뉴스 빅데이터 분석 시스템 빅카인즈(BIGKinds), 한국어 형태소 분석 프로그램 KrKwic, 워드클라우드 구현 사이트(wordcloud.kr), 의미연결망 분석 프로그램 Ucinet6, 네트워크 시각화 프로그램인 NetDraw 등 공인된 분석도구들을 활용하여 객관적으로 분석하고자 노력하였다. 본 연구의 주요 분석대상은 2021 년과 2022년 각 1년 동안 ‘자폐’라는 용어가 포함된 전국단위 신문사와 방송사의 보도기사 제목들이었다. 본 연구결과로는 2021년과 2022년의 ‘자폐’ 관련 언론사 기사 건수와 키워드 트렌드의 유의미한 증가 및 변화, ‘자폐’ 관련 언론사 기사 제목들에서 보이는 상위출현빈도 핵심어들의 변화, 연도별 핵심어의 연결정도 중심성값과 네트워크 그림의 변화를 분석하여 제시하였다.
본 연구결과는 특수교육과 장애복지 관련 연구자와 관련 기관 등의 장애인식개선 교육자료 개발과프로그램 이수 정책 등에 반영이 되길 기대해 본다. 또한 관련 연구자와 관련 기관 등에서는 전국단위 언론사와의 협조를 통한 장애인식개선 노력을 확대해 나가길 기대한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze and present the results of the changes in the reporting pattern of media(major newspapers and broadcasters nationwide) related to ‘autism’, which has recently increased in proportion among the types of disabilities. The turning point of the change in the form of reporting set in this study is the drama “Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo” reflected in the popularity of 2022. The main research methodologies used in this study are ‘text mining’ and 'semantic network analysis'. In this study, tried to objectively analyze using recognized analysis tools such as BIGKinds, a Korean morpheme analysis program KrKwick, a word cloud implementation site(wordcloud.kr), a semantic network analysis program Ucinet6, and a network visualization program NetDraw. The main analysis targets of this study were the titles of press articles by national newspapers and broadcasters, including the term ‘autism’ for one year, in 2021 and 2022. The results of this study include a significant increase and change in the number of articles in the media related to 'autism' and keyword trends in 2021 and 2022, changes in keywords with high frequency of occurrence in the titles of articles in the media related to 'autism', and the degree of connection of key words by year Changes in centrality values and network diagrams were analyzed and presented. The results of this study are expected to be reflected in the development of educational materials for improving disability awareness of researchers and related institutions related to special education and disability welfare and the policy of completing the program. In addition, related researchers and related organizations are expected to expand efforts to improve disability awareness through cooperation with national media companies.
