일본 세계사 교과서의 종교개혁사 서술 분석 (Analysis of The Descriptions of The Reformation in Japanese World History Textbooks)

초록

교회사 연구에서 16세기 종교개혁사는 중요한 주제이다. 종교개혁사연구는 신학의 연구 대상이기도 하지만, 중고등학교 역사 교과서에서도중요한 학습 단원중의 하나이다. 한국의 중고등 역사 교과서의 종교개혁사 서술을 보면 종교개혁사에 대한 개념과 서술에 대한 왜곡과 누락이 심각하여, 필자는 그에 대한 대안을 제안한 바 있다. 종교개혁사 연구와 이해가 전문 신학자들만의 연구 대상이 되어 서는 안된다. 종교개혁사 연구와 관심의 대중화에 중고등학교 역사 교과서의 종교개혁사 서술은 매주 중요한 문제이다. 이 연구는 일본의 현재 교과서 집필 기준인세계사 교육과정(2009 개정 학습지도요령)을 살펴보고, 종교개혁사의진정한 의미를 살리는 교과서 서술 방안이 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다.
일본 교과서의 종교개혁사 서술을 분석하면서 먼저 일본 문부성의 학습지도요령의 내용을 서술하고, 교과서 세계사의 항목과 내용을 분석하고자 한다. 그리고 마틴 루터와 존 칼빈, 영국의 종교개혁과 가톨릭의 종교개혁을 교과서가 어떻게 서술하는지를 분석하고자 한다. 그리고 필자는 서술 분석과 동시에 교과서별로 서술 방식에 관한 문제점을 지적하면서, 향후 일본 교과서의 종교개혁사 역사서술에 대한 수정과 대안을제시하고자 한다. 본 고의 일본 세계사 역사 교과서에 나타난 종교개혁사 서술 분석에서 제기된 문제점이 객관적인 종교개혁사 서술과 향후 일본 역사 교과서 서술에 수정의 지침이 되길 기대한다.

영어초록

In the study of church history, the history of the 16th century Reformation is an important topic. The study of the history of the Reformation is not only a subject of study in theology, but is also one of the important learning units in middle and high school history textbooks. Research and understanding of the history of the Reformation should not be a research subject only for professional theologians. In order to popularize research and interest in the history of the Reformation, the description of the history of the Refor mation in middle and high school history textbooks is an important issue every week. This study examines Japan's current textbook writing standard, the World History Curriculum (2009 revised study guidance guidelines), and examines textbook description methods that preserve the true meaning of the history of the Reformation. In analyzing the description of the history of the Reformation in Japanese textbooks, we first describe the study guidance guidelines of the Japanese Ministry of Education, and then analyze the contents of world history in the textbook. And we want to analyze how text books describe Martin Luther, John Calvin, the English Reformation, and the Catholic Reformation. In addition, while analyzing the narrative, the author points out problems with the narrative method of each textbook and proposes corrections and alternatives to the historical narrative of the Reformation history in Japanese textbooks in the future. It is hoped that the problems raised in this paper's analysis of the description of the history of the Reformation in Japanese world history textbooks will serve as a guide line for objective descriptions of the history of the Reformation and for corrections in the description of Japanese history textbooks in the future
