청년의 고독생과 고독사 : 언론보도와 학술연구에 관한 비정형 빅데이터 분석 중심 (A Youth’s Solitary Life and Solitary Death : Focusing on unstructured big data analysis of media reports and academic research)

초록

본 연구는 청년 고독생과 고독사를 중심으로 청년의 고독 현상에 대한 언론보도와 학 술연구라는 두 개의 빅데이터를 통하여 핵심어들의 연결성을 파악하고, 주제어들의 의미 구조를 밝힘으로써 사회적인 해법을 모색하고자 하였다. 두 개의 빅데이터 자료로 청년 의 고독생이나 청년의 고독사를 다룬 학술연구 132개와 언론보도 692건 자료를 활용하 였다. 분석 결과, 학술연구의 경우, 사회, 고독, 고립이 언론보도는 복지, 사회, 고립 등이 많은 핵심어를 발생시키고 있으며, 두 유형의 텍스트 핵심어에 대한 1-way tree를 통해 핵심어의 파생관계를 확인하였다. 두 텍스트에 나타난 청년 고독생과 고독사 주제유형과 의미구조에 대한 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 학술연구는 2개의 토픽으로 분류되었고, 고독 사에 관한 원인을 규명하고자 한 토픽1과 고독사를 방지하고자 한 토픽 2로 의미 분류 되었고, 언론보도는 3개의 토픽으로, 고독사 잠재위험을 가진 청년에 대한 사회적 처방 을 다룬 토픽1, 청년 고독사의 구체적인 실태와 원인을 다룬 토픽2, 청년 고독사 방지를 위한 사회적 방안을 알리는 토픽3으로 의미 분류되었다. 청년 고독의 두 축인 청년 고독 생의 구체적인 양상을 논의하였으며, 청년의 고독에 대한 우리사회의 대응이 다양한 텍 스트를 매개로 이루어지고 있지만 당사자의 진술이나 정리는 존재하지 않으면서 죽음만 이 남겨진 비복지적인 현상으로서 청년 고독사를 논의하였다.

영어초록

This study aims to understand the connectivity of key terms and reveal the semantic structure of themes related to the phenomenon of youth loneliness, focusing on young solitary life and solitary deaths. This analysis is conducted through two sets of big data: media reports and academic research. The study utilizes 132 academic research papers and 692 media reports that address the issues of young solitary life or experiencing solitary deaths. As a result of the analysis, in the case of academic research, the key terms 'society,' 'solitude,' and 'isolation' frequently appeared, whereas in media reports, 'welfare,' 'society,' and 'isolation' were prominent. The 1-way word tree analysis of the key terms in both types of texts revealed the derivative relationships among the key terms. And, The analysis results of the themes and semantic structures related to youth solitary death in the two texts are as follows. Academic research was categorized into two topics: Topic 1, which aimed to identify the causes of solitary deaths, and Topic 2, which focused on preventing solitary deaths. Media reports were categorized into three topics: Topic 1, which dealt with social prescriptions for youth at potential risk of solitary deaths; Topic 2, which covered the specific realities and causes of youth solitary deaths; and Topic 3, which communicated social measures to prevent youth solitary deaths.
The study discusses the specific aspects of young solitary life one of the two pillars of youth loneliness. Although our society's response to youth loneliness is mediated through various texts, the phenomenon of youth solitary deaths is discussed as a non-welfare issue where only death remains, without the statements or organization of the individuals involved.
