빅데이터 분석을 통한 국내 관광지개발의 의미연결망 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Semantic Network Analysis of Tourism Destination Development in Korea Using Big Data)

초록

본 연구는 기존 문헌들과 달리 빅데이터를 활용하여 관광지개발이라는 용어에 대한 의미분석에 초점을 맞추어 관련 단어를 도출하고 의미연결망 분석을 수행하여 관광지개발의 의미구조를 시각화하고자 한다. 본 연구의 1단계 연구절차로서 데이터 수집은 텍스톰(Textom)을 이용하였으며 수집된 데이터는 text 정제과정을 통해 정형화된 데이터로 변환하였다. 2단계로는 분석을 위해 정제된 데이터는 text mining을 이용하여 단어의 빈도수를 계산 후, 관광지개발과 관련된 핵심단어가 도출되었다. 3단계로는 도출된 핵심단어들로 matrix 데이터를 생성하여 Semantic Network 분석을 수행하였고 Ucinet 6.0 프로그램을 이용하여 의 네트워크 중심성(network centrality), 구조적 등위성(CONvergence of iterated CORrelations; CONCOR), 그리고 에고네트워크(ego-network) 분석 등을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 서론에서 지적하다시피 국내의 관광지개발이 관광지 개발업체 및 개발자 주도가 아닌 관광객의 시각을 반영하는 것이 필요하지만 연구 결과를 통해 여전히 관광지 개발자(생산자)와 상당히 연관되어 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 쇼핑, 코스, 체험 등 일부 추출된 단어들은 관광객의 행위 혹은 행동과 관련된 용어도 발견되었기 때문에 관광지개발자 및 개발업체는 관광객 행동을 고려한 관광지 설계 및 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 관광지 개발자 및 관광지개발 정책 입안자는 국내의 관광지개발을 고려할 때 전국의 균형적인 관광지개발에 초점을 맞추어야 할 것이다. 향후 연구에서는 빅데이터를 통해 관광객 대상으로 특정 관광지개발에 필요한 요인 분석과 같이 다양하고 폭넓은 빅데이터 수집과 분석이 이루어져 본 연구의 결과가 보완되기를 기대한다.

영어초록

Unlike extant literature, this study focuses on the term of tourism destination development using big data to derive related words and performs an analysis of semantic network to visualize the structure of tourism destination development. As the first stage of research methods in this study, data collection was conducted using Textom, and the collected data were converted into standardized data through a text purification process. In the second stage, after the data purified for analysis was used to calculate the frequency of words using text mining, and key words related to tourism destination development were derived. In the third stage, matrix data was created from the derived key words, and this study performed an analysis of semantic network. The Ucinet 6.0 program was used to analyze network centrality, convergence of iterated correlations, and ego-network. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, as pointed out in the introduction of this study, domestic tourism destination development needs to reflect the perspectives of tourists rather than being led by tourism destination developers and providers. However, the results show that it is still significantly linked to tourism destination developers. Second, because some of the extracted words, such as shopping, course, and experience, were also found to be terms related to either tourist behavior or activity, tourism destination developers need to design and develop tourism destinations taking tourist behavior into consideration. Third, when planning domestic tourism destination development, tourism destination developers and policy makers should focus on balanced tourism destination development across the country. In future research, it anticipates that the results from this study will be added by collecting and analyzing diverse and extensive big data, such as analyzing the factors necessary for developing specific tourism destinations for tourists through big data.
