빅 데이터를 통한 고교학점제의 대중인식 분석 (Analysis of public perception of high school credit system through big data)

초록

본 연구는 빅 데이터 분석을 통해 고교학점제에 대한 대중인식을 파악하고, 앞으로의 방향을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 ‘고교학점제’를 주제어로 Textom을 활용하여 2020년 1월부터 10월까지 NAVER, DAUM의 카페와 블로그 게시물로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 2020년은 COVID-19로 인해 공교육의 상황이 변화하면서 학생들의 진로탐색 경향 역시 변화할 가능성이 높기 때문이다. 수집된 자료에서 추출된 단어는 정제 후, 텍스트마이닝과 의미연결망 분석을 실시하였다. 빈도 분석 결과, 대중은 고교학점제를 ‘학생이 진로·진학 준비를 위해 고교에서 수강과목을 선택·이수하는 새로운 교육과정’으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 N-gram 네트워크에서 과목 선택, 학점 이수 기준 등에 대한 높은 관심을 확인하였고, ‘수업, 대학, 교사’가 빈도는 낮지만 연결중심성이 높게 나타나 대중이 고교학점제의 실질적 측면을 인식하기 시작함을 알 수 있었다. 언어 네트워크에 내재된 의미를 밝히기 위하여 CONCOR 분석을 실시한 결과, ‘진로 맞춤형 교육과정, 고교학점제 도입 기반 마련, 고교학점제 전면 도입, 고교학점제 운영’이라는 4개의 군집이 나타났다. 가장 비중이 큰 것은 ‘고교학점제 도입 기반 마련’이었으며, ‘고교학점제 전면 도입’과의 연결이 가장 두텁게 나타나 아직 정책 홍보 및 현장 연구 중심으로 이슈가 형성되고 있지만, 도입 기반 마련에서 전면 도입으로 대중의 인식이 넘어가고 있는 단계임을 알 수 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 볼 때, 학생들이 자신의 진로와 적성에 따라 교과목을 선택할 수 있도록 진로 설계 지원 시스템을 구축하고, 개인 진로·학업 상담을 강화해야 한다. 또한 진로별, 수준별로 과목 체계를 재구성해야 하며, 고교학점제에 대한 구체적·실제적인 대중 홍보 전략 역시 마련해야 할 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the public perception of the high school credit system through big data analysis and to explore the future direction. Data was collected from cafes and blog posts of NAVER, DAUM from January to October 2020, using Textom as the subject word of ‘high school credit system'. This is because, in 2020, as the situation in public education changes due to COVID-19, the trend of students' career search is likely to change as well. Words extracted from the collected data were refined and then text mining and semantic network analysis were performed. As a result of the frequency analysis, the public recognized the high school credit system as ‘a new curriculum in which students select and take courses in high school to prepare for career and further advancement'. In addition, high interest in subject selection and credit completion standards was confirmed in the N-gram network, an ‘classes, universities, teachers' have low frequency but high connection-oriented, so the public recognizes the practical aspects of the high school credit system. I could see that I started doing it. As a result of conducting the CONCOR analysis to reveal the meaning inherent in the language network, four clusters were found: ‘Course tailored for careers, laying the foundation for the introduction of the high school credit system, the full introduction of the high school credit system, and the operation of the high school credit system’. The greatest weight was ‘preparation of the foundation for the introduction of the high school credit system', and the connection with the ‘full introduction of the high school credit system' was the strongest, and issues are still being formed based on policy promotion and field research. It can be seen that this is a stage in which awareness is moving. Based on the research results, it is necessary to establish a career design support system so that students can select courses according to their career path and aptitude, and strengthen individual career and academic counseling. In addition, the subject system for each career and level should be reorganized, and a concrete and practical public relations strategy for the high school credit system should also be prepared.
