보험 챗봇 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on Factors Influencing Insurance Chatbot Acceptance Intention)

초록

보험회사의 보험모집 등과 관련한 소비자의 불만과 민원이 지속적으로 발생하면 이로 인한 소비자 피해 및 분쟁·소송 등의 결과를 가져온다. 이는 보험사의 신뢰가 하락하는 것에 외에도 보험회사의 신규 계약의 감소, 기존 계약의 해지 등이 발생하게 되어 보험회사의 성장과 수익에 부정적 영향을 가져올 가능성이 매우 크다. 이러한 보험회사의 판매행위에 대한 민원 감소와 보험 산업의 신뢰도 상승에 대한 한 방안으로 챗봇 보험서비스가 있다. 본 연구는 UTAUT2 신기술수용 모형을 활용하여 보험소비자가 챗봇 신기술수용의도가 있는지 확인하였다. 더불어 챗봇 신기술수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지 규명하였다. 연구결과 챗봇 보험서비스 수용의도에 미치는 관계에서 성과기대가 챗봇 보험서비스 수용의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 성과기대 즉 보험업무 처리 효율성이 높을수록 핀테크에 관한 기술 수용의도도 함께 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 노력 기대가 챗봇 보험서비스 수용의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 신 기술에 적응하는 것에 얼마나 쉽게 적응하느냐가 수용의도에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 실증한 결과이다. 신뢰는 챗봇 보험서비스 수용의도에 미치는 관계에서 다른 변수에 비해 비교적 높은 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 일부 보험사와 보험설계사의 부실한 업무처리 등에 의한 민원발생으로 우리나라 보험신뢰도가 저하되었다고 본 다면 챗봇 보험서비스가 보험산업 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 대안이라는 것을 실증한 결과로 볼 수 있다. 유희 동기는 챗봇 보험서비스 수용의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 신기술 플랫폼 역시 유희성이 담보되어야만 수용될 수 있다는 것을 실증한 결과로 볼 수 있다.

영어초록

If consumer complaints and complaints related to insurance recruitment by insurance companies continue to occur, it will result in consumer damage, disputes, and lawsuits. In addition to falling trust of insurers, this is highly likely to have a negative impact on the growth and profits of insurance companies due to a decrease in new contracts of insurance companies and termination of existing contracts. Chatbot insurance services are one way to reduce complaints about such insurance companies' sales activities and increase the credibility of the insurance industry. This study used the UTAUT2 new technology acceptance model to confirm whether insurance consumers intend to accept new technologies for chatbots. In addition, it was investigated what factors affect the intention to accept new chatbot technologies. As a result of the study, it was found that in the relationship between chatbot insurance service acceptance intention, performance expectation had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on chatbot insurance service acceptance intention. In other words, it was found that the higher the performance expectation, that is, the higher the efficiency of insurance work, the higher the intention to accept technology for fintech. It was found that the expectation of effort had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on the intention to accept chatbot insurance services. Therefore, it is a result of demonstrating that how easily one adapts to adapting to new technologies can affect acceptance intention. It was found that trust had a relatively high positive (+) effect compared to other variables in the relationship on the intention to accept chatbot insurance services. If we believe that Korea's insurance reliability has been reduced due to complaints caused by poor work handling by some existing insurers and insurance planners, it can be seen as a result of demonstrating that chatbot insurance services are an alternative to increase the reliability of the insurance industry. Play motivation was found to have a statistically significant positive effect on the intention to accept chatbot insurance services. It can be seen as a result of demonstrating that new technology platforms can also be acpted only when playfulness is guaranteed.
