특성화고교졸업자의 계열별 대학학업성취도 분석 (Analysis of University Academic Achievement of Specialized High School by Category)

초록

본 연구는 특성화고교졸업자로 입학한 학생의 계열별 대학학업성취도를 구명하는 데 목적이 있다. 대학학업성취도와 대학입학전형요소의 상관관계를 분석하고 대학학업성취도 추이를 분석하였다.
본 연구의 연구대상은 2010학년도 A대학교 특성화고교졸업자로 입학한 학생 중 2010∼2013학년도 1학기이상 성적을 받은 73명이었다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 특성화고교졸업자의 대학입학전형요소 결과는 종합점수(평균 913.0점), 학생부교과(평균 850.3점), 출석(평균 99.1점), 수능(평균 792.9점)이었고, 대학학업성취도는 전체 평균이 2.49점이었다.
둘째, 상업계열 학생의 대학학업성취도는 대학입학전형요소 중 종합점수와 학생부교과가 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다. 학년별 계열별로는 2학년 상업계열에서 대학학업성취도와 대학입학전형요소 중 수능이 높은 상관관계를 나타냈고 학생부교과, 종합점수 순으로 나타났다.
셋째, 대학학업성취도는 공업계열 학생이 상업계열 학생보다 대학학업성취도의 성적이 낮았다.
넷째, 대학학업성취도 추이는 공업계열과 상업계열 학생 모두 학년이 올라갈수록 대학학업성취도가 높아지고 있었다. 학년별로는 저학년에서 공업계열 학생이 상업계열 학생보다 매우 낮은 대학학업성취도를 나타냈으나 고학년에서 차이가 거의 없었다. 공업계열 학생은 상업계열 학생에 비해 대학학업성취도가 뚜렷하게 향상되는 결과를 보였다.
본 연구 결과를 기초하여 추후 연구를 제언하면, 대학입학전형요소와 대학 생활의 예측에 관한 연구가 필요하다.

영어초록

The purposes of this study were to measure university academic achievement of the specialized high school by category. We analyzed the relationship between university academic achievement and university admission factors and subsequently analyzed the trends of university academic achievement. The population for the study constituted of 73 freshmen in 2010, who attended classes between 2010 and 2013 at a university. They are graduates from specialized high school. The major findings of this study were as follows.
First, the results of intimate university admission factors were total score(ave. 850.3), the attendance score(ave. 99.1) and the National Scholastic Aptitude Test for university admission score(ave. 792.9). University academic achievement was 2.49 point out of 4.5.
Second, university academic achievement of the commercial specialized students was correlated with school records and total score among university admission factors. In 2nd year, university academic achievement was correlated with National Scholastic Aptitude Test for university admission, school records and the total score among university admission factors.
Third, university academic achievement of industrial specialized students was lower than its commercial specialized students.
Fourth, the trend of overall university academic achievement was higher as the grades rose. In the lower grades, industrial specialized students showed lower university academic achievement than commercial specialized students. However, in upper grades there were no differences, and industrial specialized students indicated distinct improvement.
Based on this study, we suggest that it will be required to study about the relationship between university admission factors and predictions of university life.
