‘永慕亭(影碧樓)’에서 발견되는「樓亭」의 普遍性과 特殊性 (A Study on the Universality and Particularity of Youngmojeong Pavilio)

전라북도 진안군 백운면 노촌리에 자리한 영모정(영벽루)은 경관 요소의 다양성이 표출되는 강계연변에 입지하여 주변 환경과 일체감을 갖는 생태적 문화경관으로 자리매김하고 있다. 누정의 명칭인 ‘永慕’와 ‘影碧’은 ‘충효와 관련된 亭名’의 의미와 특정 사건을 기리기 위한 ‘흠모의 마음’, 그리고 ‘도교 및 儒家的 자연관’을 含意하는 ‘心象景觀의 題景’적 의미를 담고 있다. 영모정은 계곡의 다채로운 경관요소를 자연스럽게 취할 수 있는 親水的 취경구조를 갖고 있는데, 美溪 沼를 사이에 두고 자연과 정자가 상호 관입하는 ‘中庸의 미학 공간’을 창출한다. 시지각적 측면에서 외적으로는 폐쇄성을, 내적으로는 개방성을 이루어 경이감과 의외성을 느끼도록 開와 閉, 仰과 俯, 遠과 近의 경물 요소를 효과적으로 취할 수 있으며, 景으로서 보는 대상인 동시에 보여 지는 彼看의 대상이 된다. 주 좌향은 SE 150°로 남동쪽 약 3.5km 떨어진 덕태산 정상을 주 시점장으로 설정하고 있으며, 조망각은 상방 10°의 앙각을 이루는데, 전통사회의 규범적 남동향 선호관념 그리고 崇山思想과 직결되는 차경법이라 하겠다. 또한, 영모정은 점판암 판돌을 이용한 돌기와 지붕 구조인데, 거북머리 모양의 주춧돌, 최소한의 인공을 가하여 자연 암반에 놓인 불규칙한 초석과 기둥, 계류변 숲속에 자리하여 드러나지 않는 누정의 입면구조 등 친환경적 조화미를 표출하고 있다. 한편, 풍수적 飛雁含蘆形局(기러기가 갈대를 물고 날아가는 형국)으로 회자되는 원노마을(거창 신씨 집성촌)을 중심으로 누정과 재실, 마을숲, 당산목, 선돌과 돌탑, 明堂水, 案山 및 四神砂 구조 등 토속신앙은 물론 유교 및 풍수적 裨補사상 관념 등이 곳곳에 투영되어 지속가능한 생명사상을 기저로 하는 문화적 건전성을 엿 볼 수 있다.

영어초록

Youngmojeong that is located in Nochon-myeon, Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do, faces a mountain stream by which various landscape elements are deployed. Due to its location, it presents a beautiful landscape containing environment-friendly ecological culture, harmonizing with its surrounding environment. The names of the Nujeong(樓亭), 'Youngmo(永慕)' and 'Youngbyeok(影碧),' have a meaning of Jeongmyoung(亭名) related with loyalty and filial piet. In addition, it has meanings of 'the mind of admiration' to memorize a certain event and of 'imaging the landscape' that connotes Confucian view of nature. Youngmojeong is located at the place where one can see the various landscape elements of Migye(美溪) valley. It creates an 'esthetic space of moderation,' in which nature and the pavilion are mutually intervened putting Migye valley between them. In terms of visual perception, Youngmojeong was built to be closed externally and to be open internally. Thus, a visitor can meet the elements of the natural features of the season such as closure and openness, seeing up and seeing down, and being far and being close. It is an object that sees and is seen at the same time. The direction toward which Youngmojeong faces is SE 150°, and its view point is the summit of Mt. Deoktae, which is 3.5 km southeast of Youngmojeong. Its viewing angle is the low angle of upper direction 10°. Such a view is formed with a method that borrows the principle of a landscape, which is directly related with the idea of the traditional society that prefers south and east directions and the idea of mountain worship. Youngmojeong was built with a structure with a stone-tiled roof using clay-slate stones, which is unique in Korea. Its corner is a round stone with the shape of a turtle's head. And with being added with minimal artificial work, its irregular foundation stones and pillars were put on natural base rocks. Also, it has a facade structure that is not disclosed because it is situated near a mountain stream. Youngmojeong reveals a harmonic beauty as pro-environment cultural space. Centering on Onero village that is well known with the appearance of Bianhamro(the appearance of a wild goose flying with a reed in its mouth) in terms of Feng-shui, there are many cultural landscape elements including the projections and the corner stone with the shape of a turtle's head of Youngmojeong, a forest, Dangsan tree(nurse tree), menhir and stone towers, and Sashinsa(四神砂). These cultural landscape elements present the ecological wisdom that is based on the sustainable thought on life, containing the desire of traditional native religion and the feng-shui aspiration to satisfy the lack of landscape elements.
