부부의 단절 및 거절도식과 부부친밀감의 관계에서 관계진솔성의 매개효과: 자기효과와 상대방효과 (The Mediating Effect of Relationship Authenticity on the Relationship Between the Disconnection and Rejection Schema and Marital Intimacy: Actor and Partner Effects)

초록

목적 본 연구는 부부를 대상으로 남편과 아내의 단절 및 거절도식과 부부친밀감의 관계에서 관계진솔성의 매개효과를 자기-상대방 상호의존모형(Actor-Partner Interdependent Model)을 통하여 검증하고자 하였다.
방법 경기도에 거주하는 부부 270쌍(540명)을 대상으로 단절 및 거절도식, 관계진솔성, 부부친밀감을 측정하여 자기-상대방 상호의존모형에 기반한 자기효과와 상대방효과를 확인하였으며, 등가제약을 통해 경로간 효과크기의 상대적 유의미성을 확인하였다. SPSS, AMOS 프로그램을 사용하였으며, Bootstrapping 기법을 사용하여 개별 간접효과의 유의성을 검증하였다.
결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 변인간 차이 검증 결과, 관계진솔성, 부부친밀감에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 단절 및 거절 도식이 관계진솔성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 남편과 아내 모두 자기효과가 나타났으며 상대방 효과에서는 아내에게서만 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 셋째, 관계진솔성이 부부친밀감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 남편과 아내 모두 자기효과가 나타났으며, 상대방 효과에서는 아내에게만 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 마지막으로, 단절 및 거절도식과 부부친밀감의 관계에서 관계진솔성의 매개효과를 확인한 결과, 완전매개효과가 나타났다. 남편과 아내 모두 단절 및 거절도식이 자신의 관계진솔성을 낮춤으로써 자신이 지각한 부부친밀감을 낮추는 자기효과가 나타났으며, 남편의 단절 및 거절도식이 아내의 관계진솔성을 낮춤으로써 부인의 부부친밀감을 낮추는 상대방 효과가 나타났다.
결론 부부친밀감을 높이기 위해서는 단절 및 거절도식을 검토하고 관계진솔성을 높이도록 하는 것이 중요함을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구에 대한 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영어초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effect of relationship authenticity on the relationship between disconnection and rejection scheme and marital intimacy in couples, using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model.
Methods Using a sample of 270 couples (540 individuals) residing in Gyeonggi Province, this study measured disconnection and rejection schemas, relationship authenticity, and marital intimacy to examine the Actor Effect and Partner Effect based on the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model (APIM). The relative significance of the effect sizes between paths was confirmed through equivalence constraints. SPSS and AMOS programs were used, and the significance of individual indirect effects was tested using the bootstrapping method.
Results First, significant differences were found in relationship authenticity and marital intimacy as the results of examining the differences in variables by gender. Second, analysis of the impact of the disconnection and rejection schema on relationship authenticity showed that both husbands and wives exhibited the Actor Effect, while the Partner Effect was found to be statistically significant only for wives. Third, in assessing the impact of relationship authenticity on marital intimacy, both husbands and wives demonstrated the Actor Effect, with the Partner Effect being statistically significant only for wives. Finally, a complete mediation effect was found in examining the mediating effect of relationship authenticity on the relationship between the disconnection and rejection schema and marital intimacy. Both husbands and wives exhibited the Actor Effect, where perceived marital intimacy decreased due to reduced relational authenticity caused by disconnection and rejection schemas. Additionally, the Partner Effect was observed, which reduces marital intimacy for wives when the disconnection and rejection schema of husbands lowers the wives' relationship authenticity.
Conclusions It was confirmed that examining disconnection and rejection schemas and improving relationship authenticity are important for enhancing marital intimacy. Based on these findings, implications for the study and suggestions for further research are discussed.
