해방기 박인환 시의 현실 인식 변모 양상 - 「仁川港」, 「植民港의 밤」의 창작 배경 중심으로 (A Study on the Transformation Aspects of the Reality Awareness in the Poems of Park In-hwan in the Emancipation Period - Centered on the creation background of 「Incheon Harbor」 and 「The Night at the H)

초록

이 논문은 그동안 박인환에 관한 연구가 모더니즘, 센티멘탈리즘, 현실주의, 탈식 민주의와 같은 양립할 수 없는 사조적 맥락에서 접근했던 관행에 문제를 갖는다. 그의 문학은 해방과 전쟁이라는 격동을 겪으며 산출된 과도기의 성격이 있었다. 여 기서 우리는 정확하고 합당한 평가가 부재/지연되었다는 점을 고려해야 한다. 그러므로 서구 교양을 적극적으로 수용했던 세론적 에콜 운동의 차원에서 재고할 필요 가 있다. 이에 본고는 해방기 박인환 시의 추체험을 통해 형성된 공간 인식이 어떻게 탈식 민주의적 경향과 저항의 문맥으로 가닿고 있는지 검토한다. 실제로 숭배에 가까운 취미 기준으로서의 독서 체험을 통한 서구 몰입은 전후 세의 지적 결핍과 공백을 메꿔주는 취향으로 기능했고, 박인환 또한 이와 같은 문화숭배주의를 토로 좌우를 구획하지 않고 자기 문학과 시의 “自由 情神”을 견인해갔던 시인이었다. 특히 「仁川港」은 당 박인환의 문화·지리적 인식이 드러나는 가편으로, 전후 세의 문화·현실주의적 시각이 독특하게 드러난 작품이다. 이 시의 창작 배경 고 찰을 통해 그의 ‘귀족취미’가 반식민, 반제국주의의 저항 요소로 탈바꿈되고 또 그것 과 와해되는 지점을 규명할 수 있다. 아울러 시편 「植民港의 밤」, 「薔薇의 溫度」 등의 독해를 통해, 해방기 국한된 박인환의 현실주의적 시각이 향후 「선시집」(1955)을 엮 을 때도 정제된 형태로 전승/변모되었음을 살핀다.

영어초록

The study poses a question on the practices of the research on Park In-hwan and his works having been accessed in the context of thoughts that cannot coexist, such as modernism, sentimentalism, realism, and post colonialism. His literature possessed the characteristics of a transition period that were produced in the turbulence of emancipation and war. It should be taken into consideration that the precise and proper assessment of his work has been absent and/or delayed. The works of Park, therefore, need to be reconsidered in the perspective of école movement generational école movement, which actively adopted the Western culture. As such, the study examines how the spatial awareness formed through the indirect experiences from the poems of Park in the emancipation period reaches the contexts of post colonialistic tendency and resistance. Indeed, the immersion into the Western culture through reading in the extent to worship functioned as the taste that filled the intellectual deficiency and vacuum; based on such cultural worship without dividing the left or right, Park In-hwan also was a poet who led the “liberalism” of his literature and the contemporary. 「Incheon Harbor」 is especially a well-written piece of work that reveals the cultural and geographical awareness of Park at the time, which also presents the cultural and realistic perspective of the post-war generation. Through the study of the creation background of this poem, the point where Park’s “noble hobby” transformed itselfinto the element of anti-colonial and anti-imperialistic resistance of and where it all collapsed. In addition, through the reading of Park’s poems including 「A Night at the Harbor of a Colony」 and 「The Temperature of Roses」, the study examines Park’s realistic perspective, which used to be somewhat limited in the emancipation period, is passed down and transformed in a more refined form when he put together the 「SeonPoems」(1955).
