초록

문화연구는 작품 자체를 연구하는 것이기도 하지만, 이를 통해 수용자들의 미의식을 연구하는 것이기도 하다. 해석이 시대마다 그 의미가 달라져 온 것은, 수용자들의 기대지평이 달라져 온 데 기인한다. 이 글에서는 텍스트를 통해 얻는 것이 작품에 대한 본질적이고 심미적인 비평뿐 아니라, 수용하는 사람들의 미의식이어야 한다는 수용미학적 관점에서 논의를 전개하였다. 드라마 <VIP>를 대상으로 하였는데, TV드라마가 대중의 욕망과 시대적, 사회적, 문화적 현실을 가장 즉각적으로 반영하는 매체이고, 특히 이 드라마가 불륜, 외도, 혼외자, 직장 내 성폭력, 직장여성의 육아문제 등 현대인이 직면한 여러 문제점을 소재로 다루고 있어 현대인의 이념적 성격과 미의식에 접근하기 좋은 작품이라는 맥락에서였다.
이 글에서는 드라마 <VIP>를 중심으로 갈등 양상에 따른 수용자들의 반응 추이와 반응진술에서 나타나는 수용자의 미의식에 대해 살펴보았다. 이 작품은 불륜을 소재로 했으나, 기존의 결말 방식을 따르지 않고 기존 지평에서 벗어난 새로운 서사를 구축한다. 그럼에도 이 드라마의 시청률이 15.9%에 이른 점은 현대 수용자들의 미적 의식과 기대지평이 변화한 결과일 수 있다.
이념적 성격에 대해 살핀 결과, 수용자들은 혼외자 문제 등 태생의 문제에 대해서는 보수적, 개방적 시선이 혼재된 양상을 보였지만, 불륜에 대해서는 비교적 보수적인 이념성을 드러내는 것으로 분석되었다. 아울러 현대 TV드라마 수용자들이 매우 강력한 가족신화를 가지고 있으며, 잘못이 처벌되지 않고 성과가 공평하게 분배되지 않는 데 대해 강한 반감을 가지고 있음도 알 수 있었다. 한국 TV드라마 수용자들의 시선이 매우 온건하고 도덕적임을 짐작케 하는 부분이다.

Cultural research is the study of the work itself, but it is also the study of the aesthetic consciousness of consumers. The reason why interpretations have changed from era to era is because the expectations of consumers have changed from time to time. In this paper, we discuss what we obtain from text not only in terms of intrinsic and aesthetic criticism of the work, but also in terms of the aesthetics of consumers we accept. In this paper, we discussed that what is gained through text not only gains intrinsic and aesthetic criticism of the work, but also gains the aesthetic consciousness of consumers who accept it.The drama Vip is the subject of research. The drama "VIP" is the one of the work reflected well the public's desires, times, social, and cultural realities, especially in the context of the modern people's ideological character and the aesthetic consciousness, including affair, extramarital affairs, sexual violence at work, and childcare problem, etc.
In this paper focusing on the drama VIP, in this work at the trends of trends in response to the aspects of conflict within the work and the aesthetics consciousness of consumers in the response statements. This work was based on affair, but it establishes a new narrative that deviates from the existing horizons. The drama's viewership of 15.9% may be the result of the rise in the aesthetic awareness and expectations of modern consumers. As a result of examining the ideological nature, inmates are mixed with conservative and open-minded views on issues of birth, such as extramarital affairs, but reveal a very conservative ideological nature about affairs. In addition, it could be seen that contemporary TV drama consumers have a strong family myth and have a strong antipathy to the fact that wrongdoing is not punished and performance is not distributed fairly. It is a part that suggests that the eyes of Korean TV drama consumers are very moderate and moral.
