건축물 외관의 오염방지를 위한 계획적 방안 연구 (A Study on the Planning Methods for Pollution Prevention of Building Exterior)

초록

본 연구는 건축물의 외관에서 나타나는 오염 상황을 파악함으로써 초기 설계단계에서 오염방지를 위한 계획적 방안 및 모색을 연구의 목적으로 한다. 외관의 오염은 초기 결함에서 시작되고 빠른 노후화의 원인이 되기 때문에 초기에 잡는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 초기설계단계에서 오염방지에 대한 합리적인 접근과 계획적 방안 도출을 위해 현장조사를 실시하여 외관에서 나타나는 오염 상황을 진단하였다. 본 연구의 범위는 지역의 중심에 위치한 도시의 얼굴로써 오래 지속해야 할 1순위 건축물중 하나인 서울지역 구청을 분석의 대상으로 한다. 현장조사는 6개월간 3차에 걸쳐 진행하였고 1차 현장조사에서 공통적으로 오염되는 14개의 위치를 파악하였고 2차에는 14개의 위치를 중심으로 집중적으로 다시 체크하였다. 3차에는 오염에 취약한 위치 5개를 지정하고 위치별로 오염과 청결상황을 체크하였다. 진단 후 수집한 건축물의 형태와 위치, 재료 등 다각적인 오염방안은 초기 설계단계에서 오염방지를 위한 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to propose the planning methods for pollution prevention in the initial design stage by identifying the pollutionphenomena on the exterior of the building. It is important to catch the problem early on because exterior troubles begin with an initialdesign defect and causes rapid aging. The scope of this study is seoul public borough offices that should be sustainable for long as landmarklocated at the center of the district. Field survey was conducted three times in six months. Twenty-six borough offices were diagnosed withthree levels of contamination through visual inspection and the contaminated locations, types, materials, and characteristics were checked.
Fourteen common contaminated locations were identified in the first and intensively rechecked in the second. Five locations vulnerable tocontamination were designated and the contamination and cleanliness situations were checked by location in the third. As a result, mainpolluted types and locations are sloping wall, upper wall, protruded wall, canopy, and wall under window. The key to avoiding thesepollution problems is to minimize the horizontal plane on which dust can be deposited. In other words, it can be considered variously byshape and location, such as the slope of the horizontal plane, the floating of the surface, the installation of the roof surface, and the verticallouvers. And throating plans and material plans suitable for each location are presented. Various methods of the shape and location, materialare expected to use as useful basic data for preventing pollutions during the initial design stage.
