비매개적 직접성으로서 하이데거의 무 인식의 영성적 관점: 신적 도래의 경험을 통한 존재론적 변혁 (Heidegger’s Spiritual Perspective of Nothingness Understanding as Unmediated Immediacy: Ontological Transformation through the Experience of the Divine Coming)

초록

본 연구는 하이데거의 무 인식의 사유를 영성적 관점에서 고찰한 것으로, 인간의 진정한 본래성을 회복하는 계기로서 ‘비매개적 직접성’이라는 개념에 주목한다. 기존의 하이데거 연구는 존재 진리의 인식의 과정과 신적 도래의 차원의 관계 구조가 명확하게 파악되지 않았다. 그러나 이는 무엇보다 전기와 후기 사유를 가르는 중요한 단서로서 하이데거의 전회는 이러한 인식에 바탕을 둔다. 본 연구는 전회를 통해 나타난 하이데거의 무의 인식이 신–인식의 실재적 경험에서 수행되고 이러한 신적 경험에 근거한 존재 진리에 관한 인식이 현존재를 존재론적으로 변화시키며 이러한 무 인식이 궁극적으로 현존재 안에 (종교적) 직접성을 발현시키는 계기가 됨을 주장한다.
한편, 앞서 초기 신비주의의 사유로부터 차용한 현상학적 방법론의 직접성의 개념은 하이데거 전기와 후기의 무 인식의 사유 안에 변형되어 나타난다. 즉, 전기와 후기의 사유 속에서 하이데거는 현존재의 본래성을 회복하는 방편으로 본래적 개시성의 차원을 중요한 매개로 사용하였다. 이때, 현존재의 무의 통렬한 경험을 통해 열리는 본래적 개시성은 자기개방성 속에서 존재의 진리에 이르는 존재 이해를 획득하는데, 본래적 개시성은 바로 이러한 직접성을 의미한다.
반면, 전회를 통해 알 수 있듯이, 전기 하이데거의 무 인식은 인간의 유한성의 본질인 ‘자유’ 자체가 가진 ‘자기 초월’의 한계로 인해, 본래적 자기 변형이 불가능하다. 즉, 인간의 근본적 변형이 자기 초월의 지향성으로서 인간학적 도약인 자기부정과 자아성찰만으로는 한계가 있다. 따라서 하이데거의 후기 사유는 현존재의 존재에로의 도약을 통해, 존재 안에서 마지막 신의 스쳐지나감’을 경험하고 존재 진리를 근거 지음을 통해, 비로소 존재론적 변형을 완성한다.

영어초록

In investigating Heidegger’s thoughts on Nothingness from the perspective of spirituality, this study focuses on the concept of “unmediated immediacy” as an opportunity to restore the true originality of human beings. Existing studies of Heidegger have not identified clearly the structure of the relationship between the process of recognizing the truth of being and the dimension of the divine coming. However, this is an important clue that divides Heidegger’s early and later thoughts, and his turn is based on this perception. This treatise argues that Heidegger’s perception of Nothingness revealed through the turn is performed in the real experience of God’s perception, that the recognition of the truth of being based on this divine experience ontologically transforms Dasein, and that this perception of Nothingness ultimately becomes an occasion to manifest (religious) immediacy in Dasein.
Meanwhile, the concept of immediacy in the phenomenological methodology borrowed from the thought of early mysticism appears transformed in Heidegger’s early and later thinking of Nothingness awareness. That is, in his early and later thoughts, Heidegger uses the dimension of original disclosure as an important medium to recover the originality of Dasein. At this time, the original disclosure that opens through the intense experience of Dasein’s nothingness acquires an understanding of being that leads to the truth of being in self-openness, and original disclosure means precisely this immediacy.
However, as can be seen through the turn, Heidegger’s early perception of Nothingness is impossible for original self-transformation due to the limitations of “self-transcendence” possessed by “freedom” itself, which is the essence of human finitude. In other words, the fundamental transformation of humans is not possible solely through self-denial and self-reflection, which are anthropological leaps, as the orientation of self-transcendence. Therefore, Heidegger’s later thoughts complete ontological transformation only through a leap to the being of Dasein by experiencing the “passing of the Last God” in the being and grounding the truth of being.
