국제운송 교과목의 표준화에 관한 연구 -무역 관련 학과 중심으로 (A Research on the Standard Curriculum of International Transport studied in the International Trade Department)

초록

이 논문은 우리나라 무역학과의 변천과정을 통해 무역 관련 학과에서 개설되고 있는 국제운송 교과목의 표준화를 위한 방향을 제시한 것이다. 현재 무역 관련 학과에서 개설되고 있는 국제운송 교과목의 기본원칙은 먼저 개론서의 성격을 띠야 하고, 하주의 입장에서 모든 사실이 설명되어야 하고, 국제운송은 무역거래의 수행을 위한 보조수단이라는 관점에서 다루어져야 하고, 마지막으로 과학성을 지니고 있어야 하며, 그리고 이에 적합한 교과목명은 국제운송론이라는 점을 제시하였다.

영어초록

Most universities in Korea opened International Trade Department from late 1960s to early 1970s to educate prospective businessmen who would be engaged in the international trade. This department was uniquely developed due to Korean economic character that Korea economy depends mostly upon international trade. Yet, the curriculum in International Trade Department has not settled down academically; the curriculum diversified according to universities’ traits and varied with advancing years. The curriculum that shows disparity among universities is the one related to the international transport, which was opened by the name of Theory of Transport, or Marine Transport. Nowadays, however, the curriculum is opened by the name of International Transport, or International Logistics, and there are many differences in the content among universities. This article suggests the standardization of the curriculum including the followings : 1) the adequate name of the curriculum should be the International Transport, 2) the curriculum is to introduce international transport, to explain facts and procedures from cargo-owner's viewpoint, to consider international transport as auxiliary function of international trade, and to systematize rules and theories in scientific method.
