유아교육 학제 내 R-러닝 교과목 개발을 위한 기초연구 (A basic study for the development of robot-learning course in the early childhood school system)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육 학제 내 R-러닝 교육의 통합을 위한 효과적인 교과목 개발 방안의 기초자료를 제시하는 것이다. R-러닝에 대한 인식 및 요구를 알아보기 위해 전국 대학의 유아교육과 교수 30명과 예비유아교사 482명을 설문조사하였고, 유아교육과의 R-러닝 관련 교과목의 운영 및 실태 조사를 위해 165개 대학 중 컴퓨터 및 멀티미디어 교과목이 개설된 총 104개 대학의 유아교육과 홈페이지를 대상으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, R-러닝 교과목에 대한 인식에서는 유아교육과 교수와 예비유아교사 모두 R-러닝 교과목이 필요하다고 인식하였고, R-러닝 교과목 편성 및 운영의 문제점으로는 학과 교육과정 내 이수되어야 할 교과목 수의 과다와 전공 교과목으로서 중요한 비중을 차지할 것인지에 대한 의문으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학 유아교육과의 컴퓨터 및 멀티미디어 관련 교과목의 운영현황은 총 165개 대학 유아교육과 중 104개 대학(63%)으로 나타났다. 셋째, R-러닝 교과목에 대한 요구 및 실태분석을 기초로 기존의 관련 교과목에 R-러닝 교과목을 통합하여 편성하는 모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 교사와 예비유아교사의 R-러닝에 대한 긍정적인 태도나 수업 활용 기술 향상으로 초기에 로봇기반 교육이 유아교육 현장에 정착화 될 뿐만 아니라 로봇 활용 교육을 유아교육과정 내에 통합하는 방안으로 중ㆍ장기적인 방안을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to provide basic materials for an effective development of curriculums for the integration of R-learning education in the early childhood school system. In order to investigate the perception and demand of R-learning, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of thirty professors and four hundreds eighty two pre service teachers in the department of early childhood education in universities throughout the country. In addition, in order to conduct the survey on the operation and current state of curriculums related to R-learning, the researcher analyzed the homepages of the department of early childhood education in one hundred four universities offering computer and multimedia curriculums among one hundred sixty five universities in Korea. According to the results, first, with regard to the perception of R-learning curriculums, all of the early childhood education professors and pre‐service teachers recognized the necessity of R-learning curriculums. Regarding the problems in the organization and operation of R-learning curriculums, researchers mentioned the excessive number of curriculums to be completed within the course of the department and whether such curriculums would take an important part as major subjects. Second, with regard to the operation of curriculums related to computer and multimedia at the department of early childhood education, one hundreds four (63%) out of one hundred sixty five universities were operating such curriculums at the department of early childhood education. Third, based on the analysis of the demand and current state of R-learning curriculums, an integrative model of R-learning curriculums into existing related curriculums was proposed. From the results of this study, the introduction of robot‐based education into the field of early childhood education early is expected with enhancing in‐service and pre‐service teachers’ positive attitude toward R-learning and their skills in robot based education. The mid‐term or long‐term strategies for integrating robot‐based education into early childhood education courses are also necessary.
