초록

현대는 스마트폰을 모르고선 미래 사회를 결코 준비할 수 없다.
이러한 사회 변화에 따라서, 디자인 교육에 있어서도 스마트폰으로 대변되는 모바일 디바이스, 특히 타블렛 PC의 보급 확대와 멀티스크린 이용자 증가에 따른 미래 출판시장의 모습에 대응하여 커뮤니케이션 환경의 변화에 따른 융합형 콘텐츠디자인 전문가를 양성할 필요가 생겼다. 더구나 우리나라 최고의 관광지인 제주특별자치도는 관광 제주의 정보 콘텐츠를 최첨단 모바일 콘텐츠로 변화시키는 것이 급선무이며 제주의 IT디자인 분야를 이끌어 갈 학생들의 디자인과 IT를 융합한 맞춤형교육이 절실하게 필요한 시점이다.
그리하여 산학을 연계한 e-Learning 수업을 통하여 디자인과 관련된 모바일 콘텐츠로서 현실세계에 가상 물체를 겹쳐 보여주는 증강 현실 기술과 QR코드를 휴대폰으로 인식하여 다양한 정보를 제공하는 기술을 학습하였으며, 이것은 현재의 관광 제주에서 가장 필요한 기술이기도 하다. 공부한 내용을 기반으로 첫째, 제주특별자치도의 IT 콘텐츠 관련 인사들을 초빙하여 첨단 IT디자인 기술 시연 및 발표회를 실시함으로써 웹 표준에 의한 첨단 모자일 콘텐츠 개발의 필요성과 효과성을 알리고, 둘째, 실제 프로젝트에 직접 투입되어 제작 실무에 참여하는 실무능력 실습을 함으로서 기업의 경쟁력을 확보하고 학생은 실무에 대한 능력을 향상시켜 졸업 후 바로 취업으로 연결되는 효과를 가져왔다.
이번 산학 연계 맞춤형 e-Learning 교육은 지식기반 사회에서 새로운 인재의 모델로서 학교 교육 현장의 변화를 꽤 하였으며, 주도적이며 통합적 사고를 갖춘, 디자인과 IT 기술을 융합한 첨단 모바일 콘텐츠 전문가를 배출했다는 것뿐만 아니라 보다 훌륭한 관광 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다는데 그 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

영어초록

Nobody can properly be ready for future society without knowing about smartphones in modern society. In the field of design education, convergent contents design experts should be nurtured to keep up with communication-related environmental and social changes. The necessity of fostering those experts is increasingly stressed as the publishing industry is expected to keep on undergoing changes due to the spread of tablet PCs and an increase in the number of multiscreen users. Specifically, it's urgently required to replace existing information contents with up-to-date mobile contents in Jeju special self-governing province, which is the best tourist attraction in our country, and customized IT design education should quickly be provided for students who will take the lead in the IT design industry in that region.
Under the circumstances, e-learning education was provided through industrial-educational collaboration about augmented reality technology that can produce design-related mobile contents by putting virtual things upon the real world, and another education was offered about a technology that recognizes QR code through a cell phone to supply a wide variety of information. The two technologies are most mandatory in Jeju province at present. After the two kinds of education were conducted, IT contents experts were invited to give demonstration and presentation on state-of-the-art IT design to raise awareness of the necessity and effectiveness of the development of standard up-to-date mobile contents. Companies provided an opportunity for students to be involved in IT design projects to practice IT design. That enabled the companies to enhance their competitiveness, and that also helped the students to improve their field adjustability and work skills to be employed as regular workers immediately after graduation.
The customized e-learning education through industrial-educational collaboration is of great significance in that it attempted to give a change to school education as a new model of elite education in today's knowledge-based society, to foster state-of-the-art mobile contents experts by integrating design and IT technology, and to make it possible to provide more advanced tourist services.
