초록

중국은 개혁개방 이후 시장경제 발전과 함께 홈 인테리어 디자인 분야가 성장하였으나, 독창적인 디자인부재로 경쟁력이 저하되고 있다. 인터넷의 영향으로소비자 욕구가 다양해졌지만 현재 홈 인테리어용 텍스타일디자일은 이를 충분히 만족시키지 못하고 있는실정이다.
그러므로 연구 목적은 잔가지 문양의 활용을 홈 인테리어용 텍스타일에 새로운 생명력을 불어넣고 다양한 소비자 수요를 충족시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
또한 중국 홈 인테리어 산업의 경쟁력 강화에 기여할수 있을 것으로 사료되며, 향후 중국 홈 인테리어 텍스타일디자인 산업 발전을 위한 참고 자료로 활용될수 있도록 할 것이다.
연구 범위는 명나라 잔가지 문양(잔가지 포도문양, 잔가지 모란꽃문양, 잔가지 연꽃문양)의 특성을 고찰분석하였으며, 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 2024-2025 하임텍스타일 (Heimtextil) 박람회 트렌드 3가지 테마(식물기반 직물, 기술적인 직물, 생명공학 직물)를 선정하여 베딩, 카펫, 업홀스터리용 텍스타일디자인을제안하였다.
연구 방법은 국내외 서적, 논문, 인터넷 조사 등 문헌을 통해 잔가지 문양의 개념, 특징과 활용한 흠 인테리어용 텍스타일디자인 사례 분석에 대한 이론적고찰을 진행하였다. 그리고 2024-2025 하임텍스타일디자인 트렌드를 분석하였다. 또한 용도별 흠 인테리어용 텍스다일디자인은 포토샵(Photoshop)과 프로크리이트(Procreate)로 시각화하여 제시하였다.
명나라 잔가지 문양을 활용한 홈 인테리어용 텍스타일디자인 연구는 다음과 같은 결론을 도출시켰다.
첫째, 베딩디자인은 ‘다자다복’을 주제로 하여 식물기반 직물 트렌드와 잔가지 포도문양을 융합하여 디자인하였다. 초록색, 노란색, 보라색을 사용하여 자연스럽고 생기있는 주거 공간 분위기를 창출하였다. 둘째, 카펫디자인은 ‘번영’을 주제로 기술적인 직물과 잔가지 모란꽃문양을 융합하여 디자인하였다. 오렌지, 짙은 초록색과 보라색을 사용하여, 번성하고 영화로운주거공간의 분위기를 부드럽고 조화롭게 연출하였다.
셋째, 업홀스터리디자인은 ‘평화’를 주제로 생명공학직물과 잔가지 연꽃문양을 융합하여 디자인하였다. 파란색, 핑크색, 오렌지색을 사용하여 평온과 화목한 주건공간 분위기를 제공하였다.
따라서 잔가지 문양과 현대 디자인 트렌드와 융합은 소비자의 다양한 욕구를 충족시키고 중국 전통 문양을 계승하는 데에 기여할 뿐만 아니라, 홈 인테리어용 텍스타일디자인 산업의 경쟁력 강화와 텍스타일디자인 분야뿐만 아니라 관련 분야의 활성화에 중요한자료와 영감을 제공할 것으로 사료된다.

영어초록

The Chinese home interior design industry grew along with the country’s market economy after the economic reform. However, its competitiveness declined partly due to the lack of creative and original designs. Today’s home interior textiles design in the country have failed to satisfy consumers’ needs, which have become far more diversified under the influence of the internet.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the use of twig patterns in home interior textiles, which is expected to breathe new life into the industry and meet consumers’ diverse needs. It is also expected to give competitive advantage to the home interior industry in China, and serve as reference for the industry’s growth in the future.
As for the scope of the study, it examines and analyzes the characteristics of the twig patterns from the Chinese Ming Dynasty (twig grape patterns, twig peony patterns, and twig lotus flower patterns). Based on the findings, three themes (Plant-based Textiles, Technological Textiles, and Bio-engineered Textiles) were derived from the trends identified at Heimtextil 2024/2025 to propose textile designs for bedding, carpet, and upholstery.
As for the research method, this study theoretically reviews the concept and characteristics of twig patterns and analyzes cases where twig patterns were used for interior design utilizing various sources including books, articles, and online resources at home and abroad. This study also analyzes design trends shown at Heimtextil 2024/2025. In addition, home interior textile designs for a range of uses were proposed by visualizing them with Photoshop and Procreate.
The findings of the study on the use of Ming Dynasty twig patterns in home interior textile design can be summarized as follows. First, the bedding design is guided by the theme of ‘More Children And More Happiness’, and combines the latest trends of plant-based textiles with twig grape patterns. Green, yellow, and purple colors are used to create a natural and lively atmosphere for home spaces. Second, the carpet features the theme of ‘Prosperity’, fusing technical textiles with twig peony patterns. The design uses orange, dark green and purple colors, creating a soft and harmonious atmosphere for living spaces with emphasis on prosperity and good fortune. Third, under the theme of ‘Peace’, the upholstery design brings biotechnology fabrics and twig lotus patterns together.
It uses blue, pink, and orange to create an atmosphere of tranquility and harmony for living spaces.
The fusion between twig patterns and the latest design trends are expected to contribute to satisfying consumers’ diverse needs and preserve the traditional patterns of China, boost the competitiveness of the home interior textile design industry, and provide key data and inspiration to revitalize the industry and the related domains.
