핵심역량별 비교과 로드맵 도출을 위한 비교과 프로그램 현황 및 성과 분석: H대학의 사례 (Analysis of Extra-curricular Program Status and Performance for Development of Extra-curricular Roadmaps by Core Competency: A Case Study of H University)

초록

목적 본 연구는 H대학교 6대 핵심역량별 비교과 로드맵(안) 구축에 근거가 될 수 있는 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 하여 수행되었다.
방법 이를 위한 연구과제로서, 최근 2년간 운영된 비교과 프로그램을 대상으로 하여 비교과 운영 현황 분석과, 핵심역량별 비교과성과 분석을 수행하였다. 첫째, 비교과프로그램의 활동유형에 따른 영역별 운영 현황분석에 있어서 재학생 인식 조사 결과를 포함하여 종합적으로 분석하였으며, 둘째, 핵심역량별 비교과 성과분석을 위하여, 각 핵심역량별 프로그램에 있어서 집단내(사전⋅사후) 대응표본T검정, 집단간(참여군, 미참여군) 독립표본T검정을 통계프로그램 SPSS 26 ver를 활용하여 각각 구하였다.
결과 첫째, 비교과에서 운영하고 있는 활동유형은 특강/워크숍의 운영률이 현저하게 높았으며 재학생이 가장 참여하고 싶은 활동유형도 특강/워크숍 유형인 것으로 나타났다. 한편, ‘이해’ 영역의 비교과 운영률이 높은 것으로 분석되었으나 재학생이 가장 참여하고싶은 활동단계는 ‘역량개발’ 영역의 프로그램인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 핵심역량별 비교과 운영 성과에 있어서, ‘지식정보역량 함양’ 프로그램 참여 후 향상된 학생들의 지식정보 역량, ‘인문역량 함양 프로그램’의 인문역량 향상 성과, ‘소통역량 함양 프로그램’의 소통역량 향상 성과, ‘리더십역량 함양 프로그램’의 리더십역량 향상 성과는 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 확인되었다.
결론 본 연구결과에 기반하여. 재학생들을 위한 핵심역량별 비교과 로드맵(안) 구축에 제공되어질 수 있는 기초적 근거가 도출되었다. 동시에, H대학교 비교과 교육과정 운영현황과 운영성과 결과에 따른 향후 발전방안을 논의하였다.

영어초록

Objectives This study was conducted with the aim of providing fundamental data to support the development of a extra-curricular roadmap for the six core competencies at H University.
Methods As part of the research project, an analysis of extra-curricular program operations over the past two years was conducted, including an analysis of extra-curricular program operation status by type of activity and an analysis of extra-curricular achievements by core competency. Firstly, a comprehensive analysis was performed, including a student perception survey, to assess the operational status by domain based on the types of activities in extra-curricular programs. Secondly, for the analysis of extra-curricular achievements by core competency, paired samples t-tests (pre-post) and independent samples t-tests (participation group, Extra-participation group) were conducted for each core competency program using the statistical software SPSS version 26.
Results First, in extra-curricular activities, the operation rate of special lectures/workshops was significantly high, and it was also found that these were the types of activities in which students most wanted to participate. On the other hand, while the extra-curricular operation rate in the “understanding” domain was high, students' most desired activity phase was found to be in the “competency development” domain programs. Second, regarding the Extra-curricular operational outcomes by core competency, it was statistically significant that students demonstrated improved competencies in knowledge and information cultivation programs, humanities competency cultivation programs, communication competency cultivation programs, and leadership competency cultivation programs.
Conclusions Drawing on the findings of this study, foundational evidence has been generated for the establishment of a core competency-specific extra-curricular roadmap for enrolled students. Concurrently, deliberations were conducted concerning prospective development avenues in response to H University's Extra-curricular education curriculum operation status and performance outcomes.
