전래동요 노랫말에 나타난 전통음식문화 탐색 (A Study on Traditional Food Culture in the Lyrics of Traditional Children’s Songs)

초록

본 연구는 예비교사 및 현장교사들이 다양한 시각으로 전래동요에 접근할 수 있는 사고의 유연성을 기르는데 목적을 두고, 이를 위한 기초 연구로서 전래동요 노랫말에 나타난 전통음식문화를탐색한 후 활용방안을 제시한 것이다. 연구문제는 첫째, ‘전래동요 노랫말에 나타난 전통음식문화는 무엇인가?’ 둘째, ‘전통음식문화의 활용방안은 무엇인가?’로 설정하였다.
연구방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전통음식문화 관련 전래동요 73곡을 추출하여 연구대상으로하였다. 둘째, 연구대상 73곡에 나타난 음식관련 내용들을 모두 정리한 후 내용에 따라 분류하였다. 셋째, 분류된 전래동요 제목과 노랫말에 나타난 음식문화를 표로 정리한 후 범주별로 전통음식문화에 대해 설명하였다.
연구결과, 전래동요 노랫말에 나타난 전통음식문화는 ‘음식의 종류’, ‘조리법’, ‘식재료’, ‘식기’ 로 나타났다. 또한 전통음식문화에 내재되어 있는 사회, 경제, 철학 등의 배경과 생활문화에 대한이해를 넓힐 수 있었다. 따라서 전래동요 노랫말의 활용방안으로 역사문화교육을 제안하였다.
본 연구는 전래동요에 내재되어 있는 다양한 요소들을 통해 지식의 확장 및 활용 가능성을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영어초록

This study explores the traditional food culture and educational meanings shown in the lyrics of traditional children’s songs as a basic study for the purpose of developing the flexibility of thinking for preservice teachers and field teacher to approach the traditional children’s songs in various perspectives. There are two research questions.
First, what is the traditional food culture that appeared in the lyrics of traditional nursery rhymes? Second, what is the educational application plan of traditional food culture? The research method is as follows: first, 73 songs related to traditional food culture, which appeared in traditional children’s songs, were extracted as the subject of study; second, after organizing all the food-related contents shown in the 73 songs of the study, they were classified according to their content; third, the categorized traditional titles of children’s songs and the food culture shown in the lyrics were organized into a table, and the traditional food culture was explained by category.
As a result of the study, the traditional food culture that appeared in the lyrics of traditional children’s songs was “type of food”, “cooking method,” “food ingredients” and “tableware.” In addition, they were able to broaden their understanding of the background of society, economy, philosophy, etc. and life culture inherent in traditional food culture. Therefore, as a method of utilizing traditional children’s songs, historical and cultural education was proposed. This study is meaningful in that it has confirmed the possibility of expanding and utilizing knowledge through various elements inherent in traditional nursery rhymes.
