만 2세 영아 특별활동 내 신체활동 프로그램 모델 개발 (Program development for two-year old children’s physical activity as a special activity program)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 만 2세 영아의 특별활동 내에 신체활동 프로그램 모델을 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구의 참여자는 유목적적 표집방법으로 서울시에 위치한 어린이집 중 평가인증 3차 지표와 통합지표를 90점 이상으로 통과한 5곳을 선정한 후 어린이집원장 5명, 보육교사 5명, 외부 신체활동 강사 5명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 3차에 걸친 델파이분석과 중요도 확인을 위한 AHP 분석을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 만 2세 영아 특별활동 내 신체활동 프로그램 모델은 5개 영역 47개 요인으로 구성되었으며 구체적으로 교육목표 9개요인(1순위: 대근육 발달), 교육내용 8개요인(1순위: 안정성운동), 교수학습방법 8개요인(1순위: 발달수준을 고려한 교육), 교육평가 10개요인(1순위: 강사의 프로그램 준비성), 교육환경 12개요인(1순위: 다양한 교구)으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 다음과 같은 측면에서 논의되었다. 첫째, 현장교사는 특별활동 내 신체활동이 영아의 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 전인적 교육의 도구라는 점을 인지하고 있다. 둘째, 특별활동 내 신체활동이 향후 영아들의 생애주기에 걸친 신체활동 참여에 대한 동기부여로 이어질 수 있도록 현장에서 실천적인 방안들이 지속적으로 시도돼야 한다. 셋째, 교사의 책무와 역할이 막중하다. 마지막으로 교육정책과 법적 근거를 마련하는 정부의 역할이 재고되어야 한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a physical activity program model as a special activity program for two-year old children. The participants of this study consisted of five nursery teachers, five childcare center directors, five classroom teachers, and five outdoors physical activity instructors from five certified child care centers. The centers were purposefully selected in Seoul that had all passed the third index of evaluation certification and the integrated index for the institution assessment. The collected data was analyzed by using Delphi analysis and AHP analysis for the verification of its importance. The results showed that the physical activity program models as special activities for 2-year-old children was composed of 47 factors in 5 areas. Specifically, there were 9 factors of education goals (of which the most important was the development of major muscles), 8 factors of education contents (of which the most important was stability exercise), 8 factors of teaching and learning methods (of which the most important was education considering development levels), 10 factors of education evaluation (of which the most important was the preparation of the instructor program), and 12 factors of education environment (of which the most important was diversity in parishes). Results of the analysis were discussed in terms of three aspects. First, field teachers clearly recognized that physical activity education in special activities is a tool for holistic education that positively affects the growth and maturity of infants and the development of motor and learning skills. Second, concrete and practical measures should be continuously tested and verified in the field so that physical activity education as special activities can lead to motivation for participation of physical activities throughout the lives of infants in the future. Third, the responsibilities and roles of early childhood teachers are critical for young children‘s physical education. Finally, early childhood professionals and researchers need to develop quality physical teacher training programs for young children.
