만 2세반 영아의 식습관 형성을 위한 실행연구 (An Action Research on the Formation of Eating Habits in Toddlers in a Class for Western Age 2)

초록

본 연구는 만 2세반 영아의 바람직한 식습관을 형성하기 위하여 만 2세 영아 7명과 이들의 학부모 7명, 담임교사를 포함한 연구 참여 어린이집의 보육교직 7명을 대상으로 식습관지도 시 나타난 문제점을 파악하고 이를 토대로 만 2세반 영아의 식습관 형성 프로그램을 모색하여 1, 2차 실행과 평가를 통해 영아, 보육교사, 가정에 나타난 변화를 살펴본 실행연구이다. 1차 실행에서는 영아의 흥미와 요구를 반영한 다양한 교수학습방법 및 식습관 지도전략의 사용, 가정 및 지역사회와 연계한 식습관 지도 활동의 실시 등 어린이집, 가정, 지역사회가 협력하여 운영하면서 영아의 식습관 형성에 중요성을 인식하고 실천하는데 초점을 두었다. 2차 실행에서는 영아의 흥미와 개인차를 반영한 활동을 제시하고 담임교사의 식습관 지도의 역량을 강화하는 방안과 학부모들이 실천 가능한 식사지도방법을 구체화하여 지원하고 공유하였다. 연구 결과, 영아는 낯선 식재료에 친숙해지고 바람직한 식습관이 형성되었고, 연구 참여교사들은 가정과 영아에게 실천 가능한 식습관지도의 전문적인 지식, 기술, 태도를 함양하게 되었다. 학부모는 자녀의 바람직한 식습관에 대한 관심이 증가하여 건강한 식사를 제공하기 위해 노력하게 되었다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to facilitate the formation of the right eating habits in toddlers in a class for western age 2. An action study was implemented to analyze any possible problems with eating-habit guidance for two-year-olds, to seek an eating-habit formation program, and to see if the problem could bring any changes to the toddlers, the daycare teachers and the families in two different stages of implementation and evaluation after seven two-year-olds, seven parents of the toddlers and seven teachers including their homeroom teachers from the childcare center that they attended were selected. In the first stage of implementation, a variety of teaching/learning methods and eating-habit teaching strategies were put to use by reflecting the interest and needs of the toddlers, and eating-habit guidance was provided in cooperation with the families and the local community. Thus, the childcare centers, the families and the community all joined forces, and this stage focused on being aware of the importance of the formation of eating habits for toddlers. In the second stage of implementation, the kind of activities that reflected the interest and individual variances of the toddlers were presented. The homeroom teachers were informed in detail about how to improve their teaching ability for eating habits, and the parents also were provided with specific information on the workable method of eating education. As a result, the toddlers became familiar with strange ingredients and developed good eating habits. The teachers acquired professional knowledge, skills and attitude to provide good eating-habit guidance for the families and the toddlers.
The parents became more interested in their children's eating habits and tried to offer healthy meals.
