초록

다랑쉬굴 사건은 제주4‧3의 수많은 참상 중 하나에 불과하지만, 인명피해의 사실을 가장 잘재현할 수 있는 소재로서 그 안에서 사망한 주민들의 당시 일상생활을 연상하게 하는 구체적인 스토리텔링을 구상할 수 있게 한다. 이 사건을 소재로 한 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 단순한 진혼의 의미를 넘어 누구든지 공감할 수 있는 비언어성에 기반한 에크리튀르를 끊임없이 생산하기 때문에, 아직도 미온적인제주4‧3의 정명운동을 촉진할 수 있는 동력을 제공할 수 있다. 이 논문은 다랑쉬굴을 소재로 한 4‧3무용에 일반적인 관객이나 시청자가 이해할 수 있는 공감대로서 에크리튀르가 있음을 전제하고, 그것의 역할과 안무가와 무용가의 책임을 논한다. 이를 위해서 다랑쉬굴 사건에 대한 언론보도와 무용 창작의 일반적인 내용을 소개한다. 그리고, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용에서 생산된 에크리튀르의 역할과 예술가의 책임을논한다.
그 결과, 제주4‧3 민중은 이념경쟁보다 민족동질성 회복으로 완전한 독립을 원했지만, 반공주의 이데올로기에 의해 수많은 사람이 목숨을 잃어야 했고, 그것으로 인해 민심이 나뉘게 된 비극을 경험해야했다. 또한, 다랑쉬굴 사건을 소재로 한 무용은 언어 매체로 형언하기 어려운 감정을 비언어적으로 재현하여 역사적인 진실을 모든 사람이 느낄 수 있는 공감대인 에크리튀르를 생산한다. 다음으로, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용에서 생산된 에크리튀르의 역할을 소개한다. 첫째, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 관객의 정신을 현재에서 과거로 이동시킴으로써 그렇지 않으면 몰랐을 예술적 감동과 치유의 기회를 생산한다. 둘째, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 복잡한 역사적 사건과 인물을 단순한 유형으로 전환하여 이 시대 고정관념으로 도식화된 사고에 신선한 변화를 가할 수 있다. 셋째, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 심각한 이념분쟁의공포를 시사하고, 이 사건의 원인과 결과를 설명했던 언어 매체에 비언어적 생동감을 준다. 넷째, 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 제주4‧3에 내포된 사회적 의미를 문학과 연극 등 언어 매체와 음악과 미술 등 비언어매체와 상호관계적인 에크리튀르를 표출한다.
이 연구는 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용의 에크리튀르에 내포된 정서와 제주4‧3의 정체성을 올바르게 밝힐 수 있는 정명으로 발전시킬 수 있는지를 논함으로써 안무가의 책임을 강조한다. 다랑쉬굴 4‧3무용은 언어 매체의 감정 주입이나 친이데올로기적 태도를 비언어적 설득력으로 대체함으로써 다랑쉬굴 사건을 중심으로 한 감동적인 에크리튀르를 구체화해야 할 것을 주문한다. 제주4‧3 무용이 다랑쉬굴 사건을 소재로할 때, 정명운동의 명분을 강화할 수 있는 에크리튀르를 만들어낼 수 있기를 기대한다. 마지막으로 이연구는 그동안 문학과 연극 등 언어 매체에 의존한 관행에 비언어적 에크리튀르 형성에 유리한 무용 예술의 가치를 더함으로써 제주4‧3 예술장르를 확대하는데 의의가 있다.

영어초록

Although the Darangshigul incident is only one of the many horrors of Jeju April 3, it is possible to conceive a specific storytelling reminiscent of the daily lives of the residents who died in it as a subject that can best reproduce the fact of human damage. The Darangshigul 4·3 Dance, which is based on nonverbality that anyone can sympathize with, goes beyond the meaning of simple requiem, and can provide a driving force to promote the lukewarm name rectification campaign of Jeju April 3. This article presupposes that the ecriture is a consensus that can be understood by the general audience or viewers in the 4·3 Dance based on the Darangshigul Cave, and discusses its role and the responsibility of choreographers and dancers. To this end, it introduces media reports on the Darangshigul incident and general contents of dance creation.
The role of ecriture and the responsibility of the artist produced in the 4·3 Dance of the Darangshigul Cave are discussed.
As a result, the people of Jeju April 3 wanted complete independence by restoring national homogeneity rather than ideological competition, but numerous people had to lose their lives due to anti-communist ideology, which led to a tragedy in which public sentiment was divided.
In addition, dance based on the Darangshigul incident recreates emotions that are difficult to describe in a language medium nonverbally, producing ecriture, a consensus that everyone can feel the historical truth.
Next, it introduces the role of ecriture produced in the Darangshigul 4·3 Dance. First, the Darangshigul 4·3 Dance shifts the spirit of the audience from the present to the past, producing artistic impressions and healing opportunities that would not have been known otherwise. Second, the Darangshigul 4·3 Dance can transform complex historical events and characters into simple types and make a fresh change in thinking schematized with stereotypes of the present era.
Third, the Darangshigul 4·3 Dance suggests the fear of serious ideological disputes and gives a non-verbal vitality to the language medium that explained the cause and effect of this incident.
Fourth, the Darangshigul 4·3 Dance expresses the social meaning contained in Jeju 4·3 as an interrelational ecriture with verbal media such as literature and theater, and non-verbal media such as music and art.
This study emphasizes the responsibility of the choreographer by discussing the emotions contained in the ecriture of the Darangshigul 4·3 dance and whether it can be developed into a passion that can correctly reveal the identity of Jeju 4·3. The Darangshigul 4·3 dance demands that the moving ecriture centered on the Darangshigul incident be embodied by injecting emotions in the language medium or replacing the pro-ideological attitude with nonverbal persuasive power.
It is hoped that Jeju 4·3 dance can create an ecriture that can reinforce the cause of the movement.
Finally, this study is meaningful in expanding the Jeju 4·3 art genre by adding the value of dance art that is advantageous for the formation of nonverbal ecriture to the practice of relying on language media such as literature and drama.
