부산지역 리모델링 공공도서관의 공간계획 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Planning Characteristics of Remodeled Public Libraries in Busan)

초록

This study has its meaning as basic data on the spatial composition and planning of remodeling public libraries. As aresearch method, through the analysis of previous studies and the investigation and analysis of the public library for case study,the spatial composition by floor before and after remodeling, the spatial composition of the comprehensive library reading area,and the characteristics of the bookshelf arrangement were identified. Through the study, the following conclusions were drawn.
First, the user-centered arrangement characteristics were shown through the spatial composition by floor. Second, there was atendency to expand spatial functions according to complex facilities. Third, through the open-plan configuration and furniturearrangement of the open-plan type, the characteristics of focusing on functional and flexible space utilization appeared. Fourth,the characteristics of more subdivided and diverse area composition appeared, deviating from the arrangement of the traditionalreading area and bookshelf area. Fifth, the characteristics of furniture use in various sizes, types, and types appeared. Sixth,three characteristic types appeared in the change in the number of reading seats. In future studies, the scope of the researchsubject is expanded to secure research continuity for presenting the guide and direction of detailed public library remodelingplans.
