강진 해남윤씨 죽록(竹麓) 윤효관(尹孝寬) 고문헌 자료의 특성과 가치 (Characteristics and Value of Yoon Hyogwan[尹孝寬]- related Old Documents in the Gangjin region)

초록

본 논문은 강진 보동마을에 세거했던 해남윤씨가에 전래한 죽록 윤효관 관련 고문헌 자료의 특성과 가치에 대해 살펴본 연구이다. 자료의 전체 수량은 고문서 362종 560점, 고서 86종 93책, 유물 11종 12점으로 총 459종 665점이다. 정조대와 순조대 문신으로 활동했던 죽록 윤효관과 관련된 자료가 주를 이루며, 나머지는 윤효관 이후 직계 후손 및 집안 운영과 관련한 자료이다. 이 가운데 가장 많은 수량을 차지하고 있는 고문서 자료는 윤효관의 관직 진출과 이후 관직 활동 과정에서 생산된 실증자료로써 매우 의미가 있다. 이와 함께 윤효관의 인적 또는 사회적 관계망은 물론 그 과정에서 나타나는 다양한 일상사에 관한 내용을 담고 있는 간찰 자료가 다수 남아 있다는 점에서도 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다. 또 윤효관의 관직 활동과 이후 생활 공간에 따라 강원도 영월, 충청도 제천 장락촌, 강진 보동마을 등으로 구분해 볼 수 있는데, 각 지역과 공간에서의 윤효관의 삶과 그 속에 담긴 다양한 이야기들을 엿볼 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 이 밖에 윤효관의 직계와 후손가의 가계 운영과 관련하여 세계 및 족보 편찬, 윤효관의 부친상과 처상 등 장례문화, 가족 구성원, 잡역 면제와 묘지 소송 등에 대한 해남윤씨가의 역사와 생활상도 함께 엿볼 수 있기 때문에 더욱 의미가 있다.
고서 자료는 윤효관이 직접 과거시험을 대비하여 공부한 흔적과 관련 수험서 자료를 파악할 수 있다는 점이 특징이다. 그리고 윤효관이 관료로서의 책임과 의무를 다하기 위해 참고했던 다양한 자료를 확인할 수 있다. 윤효관의 일대기를 좀 더 구체적이고 실증적으로 엿볼 수 있다는 점에서 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 윤효관의 시문집인 『竹麓遺稿』는 그의 삶과 가치관, 사상과 철학, 학문적 역량 등 윤효관의 주요이력과 일생은 물론 윤효관의 주변과 그들의 생활상까지도 함께 파악해 볼 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 이처럼 죽록 윤효관 관련 고문헌 자료는 당대 역사적 사실을 확인하고 이해할 수 있다는 점에서 사료적 가치와 의의가 있다. 향후 주요 자료에 대한 사례 연구가 지속적으로 진행된다면 호남지역 고문서 사례 연구, 문중 및 향촌사회사 연구 등에 기여하는 바가 클 것으로 보인다.

영어초록

This paper examines the characteristics and value of ancient documents related to Juknok Yoon Hyo-gwan, which were passed down to Haenam Yoon, who lived in Bodong Village in Gangjin. The total number of data is 560 pieces of ancient documents from 362 types, 93 pieces from 86 types, and 12 pieces from 11 types, a total of 665 pieces from 459 types. The main data is related to Juknok Yoon Hyo-gwan, who served as a civil servant for King Jeongjo and Sunjo, and the rest is related to direct descendants and family management after Yoon Hyo-gwan. The documents from ancient documents, which account for the largest number among them, are very meaningful as empirical data produced during Yoon Hyo-gwan's entry into government offices and his subsequent activities in government offices. In addition, it can be said to be significant in that there are a number of interpersonal data that contain information on various daily lives that appear in the process as well as Yoon Hyo-gwan's personal or social network. In addition, it can be divided into Yeongwol, Chungcheong-do, Jangrakchon, and Gangjin Bodong Village, and it is meaningful in that it provides a glimpse of Yoon Hyo-gwan's life in each region and space and various stories contained in it. In addition, it is even more meaningful because it provides a glimpse of the history and life of the Haenam Yoon family about the compilation of the world and genealogy, funeral culture such as Yoon Hyo-gwan's father's statue and wife's funeral, family members, exemption from miscellaneous duties, and cemetery litigation.
The old book data is characterized by the ability to grasp the traces of Yoon Hyo-gwan's study in preparation for the past exams and related examination book data. In addition, various data that Yoon Hyo-gwan referred to in order to fulfill his responsibilities and obligations as a bureaucrat can be identified. It can be said to be very important in that it provides a more specific and empirical glimpse of Yoon Hyo-gwan's life story. 『竹麓遺稿』, a collection of poems written by Yoon Hyo-gwan, is meaningful in that it can grasp not only his major history and life, but also his surroundings and their lives, such as his life, values, ideology and philosophy, and academic competencies. As such, ancient literature materials related to Juknok Yoon Hyo-gwan are of historical value and significance in that they can confirm and understand historical facts of the time. If case studies on major data continue in the future, it is expected that they will contribute greatly to case studies of ancient documents in the Honam region and research on the history of literature and Hyangchon society.
