해운대 구남로 가로환경의 색채가이드라인 제안 (A Study on Street Environment Color Planning Guideline for Gunamro of Haeundae, Pusan)

초록

본 연구는 부산광역시 해운대의 관문인 구남로를 대상거리로 하여 해운대의 정체성과 쾌적성, 미래이미지 등을 고려한 환경색채의 방향을 제시하고 이를 통하여 향후 해운대구청사 이전에 따른 구남로 주변 원도심 가로환경색채의 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다.
연구의 범위와 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째 “대상거리의 현황 및 여건분석”으로 대상거리의 위치및 주변 현황, 건축물의 용도와 층수, 건축물과 가로시설물의 색채현황을 조사 분석하였고, 둘째 “해운대 이미지 평가 조사 및 분석”에서는 해운대 거주민을 대상으로 해운대의 경관 이미지, 해운대의 미래 이미지, 해운대의 이미지 색 반영정도 등에 대해 1:1 심층면접을 실시하였고, 셋째 “대상거리의 환경색채 가이드라인 제안”에서는 이전 단계에서 조사된 해운대의 경관 이미지 분석결과를 근거로 해운대 이미지 색을 추출하고 미래 해운대 이미지에 맞는 색채를 최종 선정하여 대상거리 건축물 및 가로시설물의 색채가이드라인을 제안하였다.
연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대상거리 건축물의 주조색은 동측과 서측 모두 N계열과 YR계열의 중-고명도/저-고채도에서 많이 나타났다. 신축건물의 경우는 기존 건물과 재료와 색채의 차이가 커지고 있었고 이를 통해 통일된 기준 마련이 시급하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 가로시설물에는 BG, P, RP계열을 제외한 모든 색채가 사용되고 있어 이는 주변 환경과의 조화성과 쾌적성, 통일성이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 해운대 거주민을 대상으로 대상거리의 해운대 이미지 색 반영정도 분석 결과, 대상거리의 환경색채는 해운대 이미지를 잘 반영하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 대상거리 건축물의 주조색은 N8-9, 5Y계열과 2.5Y계열의 명도 8이상/채도 2이하, 보조색은 N6-8, 5B계열과 2.5Y계열의 명도 6-8/채도 4-5, 강조색은 N9이상, 7.5Y계열과 5PB계열의 명도 3-5/채도 3-6의 색채를 제안하였다. 가로시설물의 경우는 주변 환경과 통일성 있는 가로조성을 위하여 N6이상, 5Y계열과 2.5Y계열의 명도 8이상/채도 2이하, 5B계열과 2.5Y계열의 명도 6-8/채도 4-5, 7.5Y계열과 5PB계열의 명도 3-5/채도 3-6을 중심으로 통합적인 색채를 제안하였다.

영어초록

The Purpose of this study is to suggest environment color planning direction considering the identity, comfortableness, future image of Haeundae in Gunam-ro, the gateway of Haeundae, Pusan. This study will also provide a baseline data of the street environment color planning of the old town around Gunam-ro after the move of the Haeundae-gu office building in the near future.
The scopes and methods of this study is as follows. First, the current status and conditions of the target street were analyzed. In this analysis, the location and environmental status, the purpose of the building and the environment color of the building and street furniture were investigated and analyzed. Next, the investigation and analysis of the image evaluation of Haeundae was made. One-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted with 50 residents regarding the landscape image, future image and to what extent the color reflected the image of Haeundae in target street. lastly, the suggestion of the environment color planning guidelines of target street was created. The color coverage of the building and the street furniture was proposed through the selected colors from the previous step of the anylysis of landscape and future image of Haeundae.
The result of this study was as follows. First, base colors of buildings of targer street were appeared often as Neutral-series, mid-high value/low-high chroma in YR-series in both east and west side. The case of the new building had a huge difference in material and color compared to the existing building, indicating that unity within the street environment was urgent and immediately required. Second, the street furniture was distributed in all colors except P and RP-series. This indicated that the comfortableness, the unity and the harmony of the surrounding environment was poor. Third, The Results of the analysis and investigation, during the interview with the Haeundae residents, of to what extent the color reflected the Haeundae image showed that the environment color of the target street did not reflect the Haeundae image effectively. Fourth, the base color of the building of the target street suggested Neutral8-9, above value8/under chroma2 in 5Y-series and 2.5YR-series; the sub color suggested Neutral6-8, value6-8/chroma4-5 in 5B-series and 2.5Y-series; the accent color suggested color on above Neutral9, low value3-5/chroma3-6 in 7.5Y-series and 5PB-series. The case of street furniture suggested integrated color on focusing above Neutral6, above value8/under chroma2 in 5Y-series and 2.5Y-series, low-mid value6-8/chroma4-5 in 5B-series and 2.5Y-series, value3-5/chroma3-6 in 7.5Y-series and 5PB-series in order to form unity within the surrounding environment of target street.
