광주지역 대표산업의 경쟁력에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Competitiveness of Representative Industries in Gwangju)

초록

본 연구는 광주지역의 대표산업에 대한 경쟁력을 분석함으로써 향후 대표산업에 대한 육성 가능성을 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석방법은 광주지역 대표산업과 16개 시도를 비교하는 방법과 광주지역의대표산업과 지역 내 산업을 비교하는 방법으로 구분하여 진행한다.
광주지역의 대표산업에 대한 업종별 노동생산성을 산출한 결과, 스마트가전산업, 복합금형산업, 에너지신산업, 전기자율차산업의 노동생산성은 전국 평균보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 부가가치생산성 측면에서 광주지역의 대표산업 중 전기자율차가 가장 경쟁력 있는 것으로 나타났고, 복합금형산업과 에너지신산업 역시 다른 시도에 비해 경쟁력을 갖춘 것으로 평가된다. 생산성 측면에서는 복합금형산업, 에너지신산업, 전기자율차가 경쟁력을 갖춘 것으로 보인다.
다음으로 종사자 수 기준 LQ 지수가 1보다 큰 업종을 살펴보면, 스마트가전산업과 전기자율차산업을 들수 있다. 사업체 수 기준으로 LQ 지수를 살펴보면, 지역 특화 산업으로 복합금형산업을 들 수 있고 스마트가전산업과 광융합산업, 전기자율차산업은 시간에 따라 지역 특화 산업 포함 여부가 다른 것으로 나타났다.
이와 같은 분석 결과를 요약하면, 복합금형산업과 전기자율차산업만이 대표산업으로서의 위상을 지닌 것으로 보인다. 또한 에너지신산업과 광융합산업 역시 대표산업으로서의 위상 가능성이 있는 것으로 보인다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of fostering representative industries in the future by analyzing the competitiveness of representative industries in Gwangju. The analysis method is divided into two.
One is comparing the representative industries of Gwangju with those of 16 areas and another is comparing representative industries with other industries of Gwangju.
As a result of calculating the labor productivity by industry for the representative industries in Gwangju area, the labor productivity of smart home appliance, complex mold industry, energy new industry and electric autonomous vehicle industry is higher than the national average. In terms of value-added productivity, electric autonomous vehicle is most competitive among the representative industries in Gwangju, while the complex mold industry and new energy industry is also considered to be competitive compared to other areas. In terms of labor productivity, the complex mold industry, new energy industry and electric autonomous vehicle industry seem to be competitive.
Next, LQ indexes of smart home appliances and the electric autonomous vehicles based on the number of workers are greater than 1. And LQ index of complex mold industry based on the number of companies is greater than 1. And LQ indexes of the smart home appliance industry, the optical fusion industry and the electric autonomous vehicle industry are different depending on the time.
In summary, the complex mold industry and the electric autonomous vehicle industry seem to have a status as the representative industry. Also, the new energy industry and the optical fusion industry are likely to have potential status as representative industries.
