수출업자의 인문학적 소양과 의사소통역량이 수입업자와의 신뢰관계에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Exporter's Humanistic Knowledge and Communication Competence on Trust Relationship with Importer)

초록

수출업자가 수입업자와 좋은 신뢰관계를 유지하고, 우수한 성과를 내기 위해서는 상호 간의 갈등 및 문제해결을 위한 의사소통역량이 요구되며, 이 능력 개발에 있어 인문학적 소양은 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 수출업자의 인문학적 소양이 의사소통역량을 향상시켜 수입업자와의 신뢰관계를 구축시키는 지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 수출업자의 인문학적 소양을 문학, 철학, 역사, 예술, 종교 및 문화적 소양 등 하위개념을 포함한 것으로 보고, 이러한 인문학적 소양이 의사소통역량을 통해 수입업자와의 신뢰관계에 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 살펴보기 위해 대구, 경북에 있는 중소제조기업 212개의 수출담당직원들에게 설문지법을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 분석하였다.
분석 결과 수출업자의 인문학적 소양 중 문학, 철학, 역사, 종교 및 문화적 소양은 의사소통역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤지만, 예술적 소양은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 수출업자의 의사소통역량은 수입업자와의 신뢰관계에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 수출입업자 간 신뢰관계 형성에 있어 수출업자의 인문학적 지식과 의사소통역량의 중요성을 제안함으로써 이러한 능력 개발을 위한 전략적 시사점을 제공할 수 있다. 또한 수출업자가 갖춰야할 인문학적 소양을 파악함으로써 기존 선행연구들이 교육적 측면에서만 강조한 인문학적 소양을 국제거래관계로 이끄는 계기를 마련하였다.

영어초록

In order for an exporter to maintain a good trust relationship with an importer and to achieve excellent results, communication competence for mutual conflict and problem solving are required, and humanistic knowledge is very important in developing communication competence. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine whether the humanistic knowledge of exporters improves their communication competence and builds a trust relationship with importers. In particular, in this study, the humanistic knowledge of exporters is considered to include sub-concepts such as literay, philosophical, historical, artistic, religious and cultural knowledge, and these humanistic knowledge influences trust relationship with importers through communication competence. To examine this, data were collected and analyzed by 212 export managers of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in Daegu and Gyeongbuk through a questionnaire method.
As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that literay, philosophical, historical, religious, and cultural knowledge among the humanistic knowledge of exporters had a positive effect on their communication competence, but artistic knowledge did not. In addition, it was found that the communication competence of the exporter has a positive effect on the trust relationship with the importer. The results of this study can provide implications for the development of this ability by proposing the importance of the humanistic knowledge and communication competence of exporters in the formation of a trust relationship between import and export. In addition, by grasping the humanistic knowledge that exporters should have, it provided an opportunity to lead the humanistic knowledge that previous studies emphasized only in terms of education into international trade relations.
