초록

국어과는 2007년 개정 교육과정 시기부터 중고등학교에서 검정 교과서를 사용하고 있다. 검정 교과서를 사용하는 이유 중 하나는 교육의 다양성을 추구하기 위해서이다. 이를 확인하기 위해 이 논문은 2015 개정 교육과정 문법 영역의 ‘설명’에 주목하여 그것이 검정 교과서의 내용 구성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 검토하였다. 그 결과, 교육과정이 교과서 집필의 강력한 지침으로 작용하는 구조적 관계 속에서, 교과서 집필진이 교육과정의 개정 취지를 충분히 이해하고 교과서를 제작한다 하더라도 검정을 통과하기 위해서 교육과정에 제시된 지엽적인 내용에 대해 폭넓게 해석하지 못하게 된 경우가 발생할 수도 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 이 논문에서는 다음과 같은 제안을 하였다. 교과서의 제재에 대해 제약을 가할 수 있는 표현은 삼가도록 하고, 학습 요소의 범위에 대해 분명한 기준을 제시해야 하며, ‘태도’의 측면이 두드러지는 성취기준의 경우 연계성을 높이는 방안을 더 고려해야 한다.

영어초록

The subject of Korean language has been using an authorized textbook in secondary schools since the 2007 revised curriculum. One of the reasons why people use an authorized textbook instead of a government designated ones is to seek educational diversity. This study will focus on the 'description' of the grammar section of the curriculum to see how it was actually implemented as a an authorized textbook.
In the process of making textbooks, centrifugal force to realize educational diversity and centripetal force to limit the quality of textbooks to more than the national level. What this study examined was whether the two forces are in balance in the textbook we are using now.
This study focuses on the possibility that the descriptions presented by the curriculum in the structural relation in which the curriculum serves as a strong guideline for the writing of the textbook negatively affect the selection and composition of the contents of the authorized textbook.
Even if the textbook writers understood the purpose of the curriculum revision and created the textbook, they could not make a comprehensive interpretation of the peripheral contents presented in the curriculum in order to pass the textbook authorization system. The proposal of this study is as follows: First, it should refrain from expressing any restrictions on materials that are necessary to achieve the achievement criteria. Second, for the range of learning elements, clear standards must be provided to meet the purpose of the achievement criteria. Third, in the case of the achievement criteria in which the aspect of attitude is prominent, it is necessary to consider more ways to improve the linkage.
