    Drawing is an important tool of expressing the learning results. In this study, we analyzed the 526 pictures of third grade and fifth grade children’s learning results in biology unit. The category were types of picture, completion degree and presentation degree of scientific drawing. It also suggests effective method of scientific drawing. Drawing the result of observation is the way to express scientific contents and one of the process of record learning results. Through analyzing those pictures of learning results by the elements of patterns, completion and scientific expressiveness, we tried to find out effective method of scientific drawing. The subjects of analyses are 526 pictures of biology unit that four categories of 243 third graders and 283 of fifth graders. In consequence, 71.9% of Children chose drawing and small differences are observed between two graders. The drawing process of fifth grader’s structure of flower turned out to diagrams, the ratio of total was 1.6%. Cartoons are shown 11.9%, to the third graders who are lower graders however fifth graders are shown only 0.7% so distinction is observed between two grades and the ratio of whole was 6.3%. Only 12.3% of students are chose writing instead of drawing. The completion of pictures turned out that 41.0% of third grader and 66.5% of fifth grader finished drawing as unfinished condition. The case of fifth graders, delicate depiction was merely seen as 8.4%, therefore it is shown that appropriate guide is necessary. The result of analyze students’ scientific expressiveness, upper intermediate lever of realistic description was 43.6%, which is less than half, so that observer’s subjective point of view intervene at the observation and exaggeration, distortion and omission are occurred while process. Therefore, it is necessary to discipline the method of concrete observation and effective method of express the consequence that observed. Since children’s drawing style is changing by the stages of development, textbook and work book require appropriate standard and instructions about pictorial expression. Furthermore, concrete operational stage and transition period should be classified.
